16 Prospect Wine Bar & Bistro

Went here because the menu looked like it had a wide variety and we were looking for some good drinks too. Great atmosphere around the bar and high top areas. I got the blood orange martini which I wish was just chilled more, it was kind of warm for a drink. My guest got an espresso old fashioned which was good, it had coffee beans sprinkled through the drink though as decoration. We got the cheese plate as an appetizer and that was so disappointing. What a sad thing to serve so don't recommend that. I got the hanger steak for dinner which was good but chewy, but maybe that's just the cut of meat? The mashed potatoes were heaven I'd come back just for them hah. The spinach served with it was fine at first but started to taste a little fishy to me which put me off. We also got the cedar plank salmon over rice and veggies. The salmon was good but the sides were disappointing. The rice had hard bits that were either over or under cooked. Overall I think I'd come here for the atmosphere and drinks to try their seasonal ones. I'd give the food another chance too so 4 stars for now.

A restaurant where you can meet your friends and have a good time. The shrimp cocktail was not bad. cocktail drinks were good. The waiter who served us was very sincere. I think there is live music some evenings.Food: 4/5

Sat in the back at a quiet table since it was a first date. Both of our first choice drink options were not available because the website still had seasonal drinks on it that they were no longer making. I had the pear salad, which was very good. My date had the shrimp salad, which I believe he said was good. We both had the lobster risotto, which was decent. I wish I had tried the Buffalo calamari because another table had it, and it looked really good.

A nice assortment of wine to choose from and tasty food to go with it. Had a great Valentine's Day here with my wife and the experience convinced us to keep coming back for more. The seasonal drinks are all really good, but the Green Tea Martini really hits the spot They have live music acts near the front play quite often that fit the atmosphere

Simply Fantastic My wife received a Free Lunch Certificate for 2 for 16 Prospect Wine Bar & Bistro from her job and we decided to use it today. Very nice, rustic type atmosphere, great service, reasonable prices and the food was absolutely delicious. The mussels...wow...melt in your mouth tender...cooked perfectly as was every thing we ordered.

I've been here twice now and haven't been disappointed either time. I ordered the balsamic chicken over pene pasta it was amazing. The service was very welcoming and efficient, the atmosphere is great for intimate parties, the ower came by to check in and was very friendly. I will be coming back.

Great place for lunch or dinner. Family or business, perfect place to go. Great wine list. Timmy G is part sommelier part bartender. My favorite is the Chicken Focaccia sandwich. The personal pizza is great too. Catch some live music most nights.

The hostess was very accomodating and sweet. Atmosphere is funky. Our waiter was prompt. Food and wine was yummy in our tummies. Nice wine list. Excellent spirits selection.

After going here a few times over the years we decide to bring a group. We were so sad with the awful service and awful food. In the end we support local business but this place is really struggling unfortunately. I’m sure they are working to improve and we will see good things a few years down the road.

Awesome place, great food. Just their choice of draft beer wasn't anything I would get but i settled with one there, no regrets. The bar tender serves some great cocktails. Definitely will recommend for one looking for a great time with friends, also when they have a live band the music is great
