177 Liquors

177 is one of the bigger liquor stores in Pasadena, and their selection is decent. My only complaint—and it's been a problem for a few years now—is that they do not always have prices on the shelves for every item. I've experienced this particularly in the microbrew section.

They have just about everything you need here. They have any type of liquor or wine they have it include selzers. They also have the primes which are really popular right now. I’ve never used the drive through but they have it.

Great service. They carried the precise wines I was looking for, especially the Florio dry Marsala for cooking. And the Santa Margherita piano grigio, great for shrimp scampi, and for drinking.

The staff is really nice...always full of stock!!!

The staff here are Incredibly Rude. The two women behind the counter were too busy having a conversation and completely ignoring me. After many years of shopping here I am never coming back. Go across the street to Cheers, very nice people over there, they do not ignore their customers.

On Friday,June 3rd, I walked in the store to the counter to order, I immediately said hello. The 2 cashiers was having a conversation no one responded. The one to the right closer to the door asks, how can I help you. I informed her of what I wanted and she continued to have her conversation as if I wasn't even there . It appeared that she was more interested in having the conversation with her coworker than actually helping the customer. When I left the store, I said in louder voice " Thank you and have a great day. " I think it's rude when customers come into the store and they say hello the cashiers ignore them. I'm not usually mad when people don't speak back but this particular cashier always has a very un welcoming demeanor when one come in. I think the owner should remind his employees that apart of their job is actually customer service.

Lol the women that work there amazing the owner I didn't have . 5 cents he wouldn't let me come back to pay . 5 cents lolol lost customers left in front owner acts like buying from him as if he rather no one buy from you.. really should work on being lil nicer

Would have been a 5 star but the parking situation, isn't the greatest, if the store is mildly busy it becomes a difficult game of musical chairs. The 'gravel' parking lot has some very steep and easily damaging lips. As for the store, it's decently organized with a pretty good selection of lesser known beers. Prices are pretty good as well. Don't let the exterior set you off.

I really don't want to write this review, because I don't want to share this liquor store. However, fair is fair and good people deserve a good write-up. Such is the case with 177 Liquors. I recently slammed Virginia ABC stores for their bland selection and lack of originality. 177 Liquors is exactly what VA ABC stores lack. It has a broad selection of products with many things off of the beaten track. The staff are friendly, fast, and helpful. The inventory is definitely impressive. If you like bourbons there are lot to choose from. If you like scotch, sorry my friend, but I cleaned the store out of a lot of great scotches since I discovered them. That said quite a few gems are still on the shelf. The tequila, rum, and vodka aisles were very well stocked too. I do not know much about wines and craft beers, so I will simply say the store is large and there were a lot of wines and beers to choose from. This is my liquor stop when I am in Pasadena, Maryland.

Huge selection on beer, wine and liquor. It does get crowded but they moved people through the checkout quickly. Drive through window is also great, although if there are more than 3 or so people in line I find it quicker to just run in! Great selection of craft beers and domestics including 30 packs that other stores in the area don't have.
