Ordered flowers for my best friend's funeral, they guaranteed delivery by 1:00 on day of funeral, I paid. Flowers didn't show up until 3 hours after funeral. I called and got the runaround, they said there's nothing they can do about it. I'm not even sure she got the flowers because of how late the delivery was. I did a charge back on CC, only to have it put back on my card, I've since cancelled that card. I'm not sure what guarantee means to everyone else but to me, it means they'll be delivered on time
This a horrible incompetent company, they produced several excuses including a flower shortage about why they couldn't get my delivery done during a 48 hour span, I placed several inquiry calls daily to find out where my delivery stood.lots of aggravation. In the end I called a local florist who handled my request seamlessly. I recommend you support a local florist.
Ordered a floral arrangement for my mom for Mother's Day from her grandpets. Floral arrangement was even better than I had hoped for. My mom raved about how cute the dog and cat were, and how beautiful and fresh the entire floral arrangement was. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. I would not hesitate to order flowers again from this florist.
My daughter sent flowers to me for Mother's Day that arrived on Saturday. Nothing at all like the photo of her order. She called Saturday and was told that a replacement would be sent Tuesday due to the busy schedule and it was not delivered. I am telling you myself, as you hurt my daughter on Mother's Day. I want people who will be sending flowers in Charlotte County to know this. Shop the reviews!!!
I ordered flowers to be delivered on Tuesday to welcome home a friend. Got notice on Monday that they had been delivered. No one was home on Monday, that’s why I set the delivery date for Tuesday. Contacted 1800flowers, all apologies, said they would re-deliver on Tuesday at no additional charge. Received confirmation with the new order number 3 hours later that it had been delivered ! Now I have to worry that they will die or be stolen before my friend arrives home ! This is the second time ordering from 1800flowers, problems both times. Will NOT deal with them ever again !
Wish I could leave negative stars I would. Placed 2 orders for my mom and grandma. Spent about 30 min making sure to pick the arrangements that reflected my sentiment when sending. Felt really good placing the order. Next day get an email and a call saying that one of the arrangements were not available. I was at work so I told them I would call back. Called back after work and was told that the arrangement I picked wasn’t available for the delivery date I selected but it could be delivered a different day. I agreed to a new delivery date as I really wanted to send that particular arrangement. I then confirmed that the other arrangement I ordered had been delivered as this was the date delivery was set for. Rep said it had not been delivered but it could be delivered with the other arrangement. I was okay with that as well. Later that evening I get an end mail confirming my arrangements were ready for delivery and the flowers they were sending were NOTHING like the ones I had spent so much time selecting. One had similar colors but different flowers and the other one was some holiday bs with chocolates. I’m sure my mom and grandma will be happy just to be getting flowers unexpectedly but I am so disappointed that they are not the ones I purposely selected. I called customer service again and they apologized saying they would still send the flowers THEY picked but give me a 50% refund on both orders. My thoughts initially were at least I got some money back but a partial refund isn’t good enough. I was forced to partially pay for flowers I DIDN’T EVEN PICK OUT! The flowers sent had no sentiment to them at all. In my opinion that defeats the whole purpose of sending flowers to those you love. Shame on you 1800flowers. I will never use your services again and I will share this story with anyone who ever brings up wanting to send flowers to their loved ones. Do better…please.
I have never ordered flowers before in my life before this. I ordered flowers for my mother in laws birthday and they didn't make it on the day they were supposed to be delivered. They told me they can deliver them 3 days after her birthday. I spent over two hours on the phone with them. This was such a terrible experience and while they did offer $20 off my next order which quite frankly was a joke because promo codes are easy to obtain to save this much money at anytime. Then they offered 50 percent off and to deliver them FedEx three days late. I said no thanks it is embarrassing to give a gift after someone's birthday. I just married her son two weeks ago and was trying to do something nice.
I can review the lack of compassion, lack of customer-centricity and inability to trust this national chain when it comes to time-sensitive needs!! Only putting 1 star as unable to submit a review without a star. Ordered an arrangement for my uncle's viewing and funeral, as I live out of town from the establishment, I trusted 1800flowers. Received a delivery notice a few hours later. Went to funeral service the next day and the wreath was no where to be found! The funeral parlor checked everywhere and it was not delivered. Called during the service as we were very upset and embarrassed not to have flowers and was told it would be replaced later! LATER!!!!! My uncle would be buried by then! Could not get a manager to speak to me. Someone called me after my response to the customer service survey and offered a full credit and replacement flowers to my aunt's home. These flowers never arrived either. When I called about that a week later, gave the order number, the rep said I had to pay for the replacement. This was offered by 1800flowers and I had a confirmation. Once again, a supervisor nor manager was available to speak to me. I cannot comment on flowers not received 2x!
So much hassle and sub par customer service! I never leave bad reviews and I hate to leave with a bad taste in my mouth, I always try to give the benefit of the doubt and the opportunity for mistakes to be corrected. In this case it was just a horrible experience. Review Summary: Rude and non existent customer service, delivery was over 24hours late, the wrong arrangement was delivered and so much time/money was wasted!!! Full review: Ordered a flower arrangement for a friend that was hospitalized for surgery, to be delivered to their home as they were being discharged to finish their recovery. I ordered the flowers online before the cut off time for same day delivery, paid extra for same day delivery and the flowers never got delivered that day. I received an email notice that they wouldn’t be delivered that day and there would be no second attempt. I called the customer service line to gain clarity about the notice and the customer service agent said that she would call the local store that was making the arrangements and delivery. She cane back on the line and didn’t have any information regarding the order. I was on hold for 28 minutes, I had asked her for the contact information of the local shop to see if I could handle the issue directly and she had told me that she isn’t authorized to give out that information and I would not be able to get the contact info or location of the shop. With no answers, I called again after a while and explained the situation to another agent, I was again placed on hold for 35 minutes before he hung up the phone without ever coming back. I then called back a third time immediately, and the third agent had asked if they can place me on hold, I requested not to be put on hold because I was placed on lengthy hold the previous two calls. The agent promised she would come back to the line in a timely manner, she promptly came back to the call but with rude and sarcastic comments. She told me in a condescending tone “hello ma’am, that hold was only 2min48sec...” I didn’t appreciate the lack of customer support at all. Being the bigger person, I chose not to escalate her attitude and let the call continue, as I still needed answers. She had explained to me over the phone that the local store “attempted” to deliver at or around 3pm, and delivery times were stopped at 8pm that day they told me it was already past delivery cut off times and they would attempt to deliver the following morning as one of the first routes. Mind you I was on the call at about 6pm by this time. Frustrated, I requested a refund for the shipping cost, because they would be delivered the following morning. The following day the flowers were delivered, in the late afternoon, not the morning as promised and it was the WRONG ARRANGEMENT. They had to retrieve the right arrangement from another delivery location where it was switched be accident. Very disappointed with the entire experience and I will not be using the service again. I would gladly spend the extra money on a local florist to get it right the first time VS this large company who dropped the ball big time. Never received any money back and I definitely can’t get back the time that was wasted. 1 star too many.
Ordered a few days before delivery. Called the day of delivery and said the store didn’t have drivers and wanted to schedule for the next day. I told them that wouldn’t work because it was my wife’s birthDAY. Same thing happened the last time I ordered flowers. Will not give them a third chance. Also they have a foreign country call center that doesn’t speak clear English. Very hard to communicate.
