1818 Meridian House

In love with this suite! They went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible! Ask for Nicholas and Jennifer as receptionist if you want the best experience traveling . They have bikes that let you ride around in near by places , our room had A/C issues and they didn’t hesitate to give us another room ! And really close to the beach . Would not come to another hotel after seeing this one ! Best regards - Jenny and Andrew

Great spot. Centrally located. Clean units and friendly service. They did the best to accommodate all our requests. Easy entry and exit with touchpad locks. Few things I didn't like were the toilet kept needing to be adjusted after the flush to stop the water being filled. The house phone in our unit was not working while we were there. It was a minor inconvenience as we had to walk up to the office to get requests addressed. The interior is clean and remodeled with a nice pleasant courtyard. The second bedroom is behind frosted glass doors so it is not offer complete privacy and could be an issue turning on the lights in the living room if the people want to sleep in. The biggest annoyance to me was the footsteps from the above floor can be heard in our room below. Having the laundry in the unit was a plus for us as we had come in from another city where we stayed in an hotel and we were in need of doing a load. Overall, it works for people who want to be walking distance to a lot of destinations in Miami and want a modern apartment style atmosphere. Nearby activities: It is close to Lincoln Street, botanical garden, and grocery stores Walkability: Great location for 15 minutes walks to different restaurants, shops, grocery store, connection center, and other interesting venues.

Very disappointed, not recommend it at all. It's been a week since our stay, but we still haven't received the $200 security deposit - which wasn't mentioned at the time of booking. I asked about it on the second day after we left, and they promised to refund it on the same day, which has not happened, nor has it since. The room smelled a bit musty. The walls are very thin, and every little noise from the next room was heard. The mattress on the bed was too soft, in a bad way. We will never stay here again nor recommend it to anyone else. It's really not worth it for the price.

Great location, very spacious with plenty of room. First time to Miami and I’m very pleased with this property. Will book again! Just bring headphones because surrounding units can be noisy.Rooms: 5/5

This was really good for the value, but not nearly as nice as it was made out to be. The Positive: We had a family of five and booked a week out in March, just as Spring Break was in full swing. The value was great. The location was convenient as well - removed enough from the hustle and bustle of South Beach, but within walking distance of key sights. With kids, it was super convenient being so close to Lincoln Avenue with shops and restaurants. Hotel staff was nice and responsive when they were there. Courtyard was very nice. Appreciated that it had classic 20th century South Beach architecture. The Negative: I was reminded of what it was like to live in an apartment with very thin walls and lots of noisy neighbors. Almost every night we had to deal with slamming doors, people talking. ~ in the middle of the night. One night it was an hour of a non-stop honking horn on the street in front of us a bunch of guests left their rooms trying to figure out what was going on after being woken up; another a man talking on his phone outside our room at 3am where we could hear his full conversation. One morning we woke up to the cleaning crew coming in at 7a talking and joking loudly among themselves. Since the reception staff leaves at 11pm, there is no one to complain to or keep order. Rooms were not nearly as nice as the pictures made them out to be. Place needs refreshed renovation. see above Nearby activities: Lincoln Ave, easy walk to Ocean Drive, Collins Ave and Washitn

everything was perfect ! well designed suites and a stylish public area and very friendly personal. good service with free coffee and even sparkling water. washing mashine and dryer ***** ; Rooms: well designed with a lot of space, great american housing architecture Nearby activities: absolut quiet place, next to the park with callastenic tools and the miami convention centre, wonderful golf course Safety: we feel absolut safe in the house and at this area Walkability: in walking distance to the fabulous art deco district and lincoln road with all the nice shops and restaurants. also the publix supermarket ist easy to walk Food & drinks: free coffee tabs, free sparkling an still water in bottels at the office times available Noteworthy details: stylish open public area , fine to relax an review the day in miami

This place has been amazing for me and My friends Celebrating our birthdays!! The rooms are little apartments, very spacious, clean, modern and the location is very safe, next to the center of South Beach, many restaurants and nightlife clubs, and just 15min to the airport! Highly recommend it!! People are helpful and very nice, went there twice as I love it!!

Great for being next to the convention center. No ice machine, our first room the walls were all dirty and didn't feel clean at all. They did step right up and gave us a free upgrade. Our second room was nice. Need better housekeepers.Rooms: 3/5

THE NOISE IS UNBELIEVABLE. It sounds like a constant screaming fight outside and I honestly can’t believe what I’m hearing, and it blows my mind that management doesn’t do anything about it. Only consider if you’re in a pinch and if you can find a deal. Convenient location & decent cleanliness. Don’t expect anything fancy. This is definitely more of an “adult hotel” and wouldn’t recommend for families. Incredibly loud neighbors with lots of partying and yelling — it seems this hotel is nestled between apartment buildings and other small boutique hotels or something.
