I'm amazed by the magnificent artwork created by those who are from different backgrounds. Also, there's a historical corner leading you back to ancient times by showcasing precious handmade items of ancient people. Went with my sin a local and friends. Stimulating conversation. Excellent exhibit. The New Portrait section has a lot of paintings that are food for thought. Great place for a first date. All ages welcome. Front desk guy was Superhelpful. Will revisit soon. Wish they had a restaurant.
It's different everytime of course depending on whats showing, but it's a great little day trip to spend time looking at things to perk up your mind. I've also helped host multiple events here now and it always is a fun mix when guest can explore the meusuem as well
Right now, some amazing exhibitions. If Lawrence, the walking docent is there, talk to him. Very knowledgeable. I am so pleased I visited today. Can't say enough good things about what I viewed.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo wait
We took the SunRail train to the AdventHealth SunRail station and walked the half mile to the Orlando Museum Of Art. We were with an art group and had booked a docent guide for the morning. She explained artist biographies, background stories, and answered our questions about the art and artists. Our tour included an immersive experience, surprising GenZ contemporary art, and mind-boggling NFT non-fungible token art. It was an incredible, mind expanding experience as we viewed art that was far removed from the types of art we are used to. Enter with an open mind and enjoy the shock and awe at experiencing a new generation of artists’ work.
Went for a wedding. Beautiful museum and very unique to have a wedding there. Would've been nice if the exhibits were open and seat are needed for the waiting area while they set up the reception. Lovely over experience.
Favorite museum! They have a great variety of art for all ages. Ample parking and discounts available for students. Worth a visit, I go once every quarter since the exhibits rotate often. They have a cute gift shop if you’re looking for gift ideas and they also offer many other activities worth looking in to. Close by some parks, science center, and local dining options.
Art in Bloom was a wonderful experience. Two temporary exhibits were also noteworthy: the Sandoval Collection and the exceptional enlarged photographs taken by newspaper photographers of the Ukraine War.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$6–10
Nice museum with beautiful works of art. Friendly employees and plenty of free parking available. We visited the museum a Saturday and it was somewhat crowded at some points during our visit, but it was a good experience overall.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
