Amazing service the staff is very knowledgeable. I am very happy with my receiver and tower speakers. I would recommend this store. I have also gone and bought car audio speakers and a bunch of different audio/video accessories. Great price and fantastic service. For any audio/video items I need, this will be the first place ill look. I want to mention special thanks to one of the staff members, but I can't remember the name. I think it's Mark, but next time I go ill confirm it.
Got to give 5 stars to the place where I've bought my latest three big home theater purchases . Amazing return policy. Non pushy sales people that are helpful. You need a showroom to actually see and hear what you're spending your money on and they have excellent showrooms with everything hooked up. They price match up to 30 days .
This store has a decent range of TVs. I have purchased 3 TVs from this store within the last 6 years. My last purchase has left a bad taste with very poor customer service. I have called their head office and several days later have not heard back. The issue. Ordered a TV that I was told would take a week to deliver at most. A week later I called and was told it would take another week. Two weeks later I called and asked who in their company knew the shipping schedule. Who should I contact or more importantly I asked the sales rep to contact the powers that be and let me know. Their response was that they were not going to call anyone, that I was free to call their head office and that I should just chill.
Decent in store experience on my first visit, got some speakers I like, but then found a lower price online 25 days later and they wouldn't match it, even though their website says they do. Tried to contact customer service by phone and email, but no response. They even put the speakers on sale again just outside of the 30 day window so you can't price match that either.
Customer service is absolutely awful. Interacted with a man named Andrew. Came in to return a record player and audio receiver. As soon as I came in with my boxes explaining my return, he scoffed and seemed very irritated with me. I said I would look around to see if I wanted to exchange for a bluetooth speaker, and while I did he unpacked the equipment I brought in and was shaking his head and huffing at me from across the store. I went over and asked if I could help him repack anything and he told me how terribly the receiver was packed and that he should be charging me 15% for the return because of it. All the audio equipment was in perfect condition, I only opened it and unpacked it once and realized it wasn't for me within the time I had for return. The only issue I saw was that I re-taped the box. How else do you open it and try it out without cutting the tape open? When he was processing the return at the checkout he made another comment that I should be lucky he was saving me money because he should be charging me for the packing. He made me feel very embarrassed and uncomfortable and I decided I would not buy a bose speaker there because of it. Another very nice employee named Nigel talked to me after and apologized which I much appreciated. I'm not sure what this store has besides supposed improved customer service. I decided to go to Best Buy to get my speaker for the same price.
In the spirit of shopping Canadian, I went to the Oakville location and dealt with Garnett. The service was extremely professional and I was able tp purchase exactly what I was looking for. It wasn't in stock at the location but Garnett was able to source it and picked it up for me. Excellent service. He also explained the 30 day price guarantee and eventually the product went down in price and I returned to the store and received a complexly hassle-free refund of the price difference. I ended up using it towards the purchase of another product for which Garnet assisted in getting to my house. Definitely above and beyond service and excellent selection. This is my go-to store for electronics and will refer to anyone looking to upgrade their A/V equipment.
I want to say thanku to Garrett and Andrew for taking the time and helping especially Andrew he helped me on buying the best and right fit for me and what I'm looking for. Especially for a female who knows nothing about electronic he spends time with me. I went to other stores electronic stores this store was the best. Hour drive is worth the purchase. I have told other friends please go their you will be pleased. Other stores I went to electronic store didn't made time for me, it seems in they don't got the time. But this store took time for me. I want to say thanku sooo much.
Salesperson was rude and constantly made unappreciated jokes, rather than helping me find the TV that I wanted. Unwilling to discuss options. When I eventually picked the TV that I wanted, paid for it, and left the store, they called me on my cell and told me to bring it back to the store because they gave me the wrong product. Very unhappy with the service and they will be the last place that I will look for electronics in the future. I am happy with the TV though.
I recently purchased a car stereo from the Oakville location, and can say that the whole process was very frustrating. Basically, the radio was supposed to be shipped from another store to this location, but was repeatedly not put on the truck due to incompetency and miscommunication from sales staff. They failed to meet their maximum day policy for shipment, and the manager did not appropriately rectify the situation accordingly. Had I not purchased other parts to install the specific radio in my car, I would have not given 2001 audio video my business. I do not plan on purchasing other items from this store, and urge others to consider the same to save your sanity.
Excellent service by very knowledgeable staff at this Oakville location. Andrew provided a great cost effective Sonos solution for my new home entertainment centre as well as competitive deals on additional TVs. I recommend and will continue to use this store for my audio visual needs.
