10/17/2023 review: This once innocuous gym has reformed itself for the better, inside and out, and on a recurring basis has been providing outstanding customer support, completely renewed cleaning, and a much better atmosphere. My personal favorite representative at this location is the general manager who has on a recurring basis shown the hospitality, kindness, and respect that keeps guests feeling right at home. This location has improved greatly since my last reviews, and I’m happy to say I’ve noticed these changes on a recurring basis, week in and week out, and this is not just based on a one time occurrence. Keep up the great work! OLD REVIEW:This location has had some issues in the past with inconsistency and cleanliness, that can probably be attributed to just a few “bad apples” from the hiring process. This location does a warm and friendly atmosphere from most of the population, and there is lots of available equipment until rush hour. Now in the past.. this location has horrible reviews on cleanliness, and I was no exception to give my two cents on the issue. There was a huge problem with the candidates that were being hired to do the cleaning, just blatantly not doing their jobs. NEW CLEANERS HAVE BEEN HIRED this last week, and they actually care about the work they do!!! There are two gentlemen, an elderly Asian man and a younger white man who look active in their approach to cleaning, take the time to clean things right, and have a willingness to improve. I’ve noticed a huge difference just in this last week with a lot of areas of the gym. NO it’s not perfect yet, but a huge huge improvement since my last review!!!
This has to be the most absolutely dirty filthy is Gym I have ever walked in to let's start from mold all over men's lockers benches are covered in mold also smell of mold in pool area there is no such thing of a person that cleans please believe me when I say this Gym would not qualify for prison standards of cleaning. I will let the pictures speak for them self just entering and leaving I feel I must get a tetanus shot. This is so bad the staff could not care less. The steam room and dry sauna smells so bad you can literally gag you can tell they have never been scrubbed not watered down I mean scrubbed. The drinking water even looks worst in person the shower area that looks like someone tossed baking soda every wear works its not out of order thats your shower and there 2. Near the pool. All Handel's except for front door are filthy. Never bin wiped down so take it from there the door handles are full of mold And I won't even start what the pool Please look through all pictures.
The nastiest restrooms, smells so bad, licking toilets, mold everywhere. Women Restrooms NEED to be remodeled! Wonderful staff though.
Whats the point of paying a annual fee if its not going to be used properly. There is no reason why i am Not allowed to shower or wash my hands because the restrooms are completely dirty and molded. You cant walk on the womens restroom floors because there is balls of hair everywhere. I’m Paying almost 50 bucks a month and cant even go to the gym and do what you pay to do. This Place is just disgusting. And this is suppose to be a super sport location at that smh if 24 dont want to maintain the club just shut it down!!!!
Horrible experience. Associates don’t greet you at the front, they simply hide away in the room left to the front booth.seriously, next time you take a visit pay attention to this In the past they have become passive aggressive if you have an issue dealing with your account. The whole place smells like mold and the bathrooms are always dirty and smelly. The water fountains are never cleaned and have mold around them. From personal experience I have previously consumed the water in the fountains and every single time I get sick from it. This place is risking the health of its costumers and its own employees. There was a major pool leak, and there was only one janitor in charge of cleaning this two story building. This place is on the decline and it is a shame no one will do anything about it. 24 hour filth house
This gym used to be good now it’s just dirty dirty dirty. No one cleans the rooms, it’s filled with dust and hair, so disgusting. I literally have to clean the dust away to safely use this establishment. 24 hour fitness what happened to you?
The man who instructs the boxing class was very rude and told my loved one that he HAD to get off of the punching bag because it was HIS personal bag and that he had a class to teach. Very unprofessional! There is a correct and incorrect way to speak to guests. No one should be rushed nor told/demanded that they HAVE to get off a piece of equipment in the gym while working out. I don't understand how someone can be entitled to any piece of equipment at a PUBLIC facility. Why doesn't 24 Hour Fitness provide equipment that ALL are welcomed to use? If that is his "personal" bag, he should keep it in his personal space at home or in a secluded area, not in a common area where any and everyone assumes it is okay to use like it usually is at a normal gym. That's like me going up to someone in the middle of their workout and telling them that the treadmill that they are using belongs to me and they need to get off of it because I need to use it. Seriously?! You guys really dropped the ball on this one. The man then became argumentative and insulted my loved one, causing a scene and commotion. This and the lack of cleanliness of the facility see the other 1-star reviews pertaining to this put a really bad taste in my mouth, so I immediately cancelled my membership as of today. I will gladly take my hard-earned money elsewhere, where there is no one attempting to bully anyone about what equipment they can and cannot use.
This is the Willow mall location of 249!!!!!! If I could give zero stars I definitely would!!! We signed up because it's pretty close where we live, employees seemed nice. After we walked ourselves through the place downstairs, they didn't even do a tour with you like other places, the water in pool and hot tub was clean, BUT that was all what was clean in this place!!! It's 10.30 am and ALL toilets were DIRTY, so were the sinks and one was totally stopped up. In times today, ANY GYM etc. should be clean!!! And what top it off.... the elevator was broke which definitely isn't good for old people!!! Calling into Headquarters. I just read the other reviews, and it's apparently NOT A ONE TIME THING!!!! Bathroom are very very dirty!!!!
Brand new beautiful benches in the sauna! I love it! And the bathrooms are looking much better! I'm afraid if they keep cleaning and improving things I might have to share the gym with more people .
I would give 0 stars if I could. I signed up on Monday, May 1st. I canceled my membership on Thursday, May 4th. This gym is absolutely disgusting. Hair, dirt, used band aids, used toilet paper, etc. all over the bathroom floor. There are no sanitary wipes on the gym floor to wipe down equipment. The gym is full of dust. I had to cancel my membership because my asthma started acting up which hadn't happened since I was a kid.
