How to consign:
We accept designer women’s clothing, handbags, accessories, jewelry.
Merchandise accepted daily. No appointments necessary.
Consignment hours Tuesday – Friday 10-5 & Saturday 10-12.
Condition:
Season appropriate.
Maximum 2 years old.
Clean, zippered, buttoned, preferably on hangers or neatly folded.
NO odors such as mothball, fragrance or smoke.
NO stains, holes, or missing items.
Consignment Period:
Consignment period is for 60 days.
Consignors are responsible to inquire whether an item has sold and to arrange for pick-up of unsold items before the 61st day.
Consignors may pick up unsold items at any time during the consignment period.
If consignors call ahead, we do our best to have your items ready for you; sometimes we will need your help to find your items.
Items must be picked up within one week of contacting us.
Unsold items after the 60th day become the property of 2nd Hand Rose of Needham.
2nd Hand Rose of Needham donates to charities that support women.
We do our best to safeguard your items, but 2nd Hand Rose of Needham is not responsible for loss by theft, damages, negligence or other cause.
Pricing:
Items are priced 30% to 50% of retail.
Trending items & those with original tags & labels always drive prices higher.
2nd Hand Rose of Needham reserves the right to price and markdown items without consulting the consignor.
Payment Terms:
Consignors receive 40% of the selling price on clothing & accessory items sold up to $499, 50% at $500 and over.
Consignors receive 50% of the selling price on handbags sold at $100-$499, 60% at $500-$999, 70% over $1,000.
Consignors may leave account balances to be used as store credit.
For balances over $20, checks are mailed the 15th of the following month, less applicable postage and handling.
For balances under $20, consignors may pick up a check at the store.
