400 West Rich

Description

Renovation on the property at 400 W Rich began in October, 2010. 400 West Rich opened its doors to artists in search of studio space in July, 2011. Since that day, we have grown to become home to over 70 local artists and craftsmen from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines. 400 continues to offer studio space for budding and established artists and will be evolving into much more in the coming months and years. 400 is also home to Dinin' Hall, and innovative food truck hub. In 2013 expect to see the beginning of retail storefronts to be housed on our ground floor, bar/restaurant and live music venue, band rehearsal spaces, and the establishment of a farmers/art market 2 Saturdays a week. We are also fortunate enough to be home to one of the many inspiring gallery spaces in Columbus. The gallery will also serve as our event space, used for weddings and receptions, parties, concerts, and more. Please visit www.400westrich.com for more information.

This place makes me happy every time we visit! We love meeting the artists! They welcome you into their spaces to see their creations. Everyone is so warm & friendly. There's such a great variety of artists and so many unique styles. The place is always changing. Every time we stop in we find something new. I absolutely love the building! Lots of cool architectural details. I highly recommend anyone who loves art or is looking for a special gift for a loved one check it out. Keep an eye out for events such as Franklinton Fridays, Festivus, Franklinton PRIDE, Festival of Good etc, these are all super fun events and a great opportunity to step inside 400 West Rich & explore.
Please stop singing terrible karaoke and doing open mic garbage at 200 decibals. Some of us have to sleep or need to relax. I understand wanting to play some music and have fun but please respect people who live across the street at least slightly.
Very beautiful art gallery and art place for people who love art
They're doubling the rent this month and a lot of artists are leaving. 450 to 900, most small artists can't do that. The Columbus arts festival was great, but will lose its soul without all of the small local artists.
On Franklinton Fridays: Very cool place with a lot of local artists showing their paintings, as well as other creations. The place is a labryinth, and when you feel like you've seen it all, you probably really haven't cause there's something new hiding around every corner. Upstairs is food and a casual, cozy setting for crafting and conversation. I think that section is the best part because it's really quite relaxing.
This space is the city's hidden gem. It's a wonderful area and all of the wonderful art galleries and studios are honestly amazing. I attended CCAD's Senior fashion show tonight. It was amazing vibes and such a chill atmosphere! I plan to return in the near future!
Excellent place to discover the art scene in Columbus, with a host of upcoming artists with their creations on display. Parking could be a bit of a hassle though.
If you want to have true experience mentally, emotionally, physically this is the place. The art here is "cinematic"!!!! There's an artist here by the name of "Sean Martize" that has beautiful art pieces.
What a great location and place. Easy to get to, exciting events and fun place to just go to. Pics of Urban Art Crawl August 2019
Great place for artists to rent studios and show off their work to the public
