5 Dollar Bookstore

Even though a used bookstore is thought of as a thing of the past, I certainly appreciate this location. The staff is welcoming and constantly updating. There is plenty of space to walk around and the inventory flows. I may not always find what I intend; but it is not like I need assistance—or even a Local Guide—to find my next passion here.

Some of the staff could be better. A few were not knowledgeable about book genre locations. One employee kept making loud drumming with his hands and feet for several minutes to the music playing which was distracting. Another was gossiping to a fellow employee upon me entering the store. Also the prices have gone up to mostly $7-$8. I can find more of what I'm looking for on Amazon for near the same price. The store was clean and organized. Nice store, I'll still shop in for sure because I like browsing for books in person.

Just terrible. I worked retail for 22 years in management so I know good customer service from horrible. I came in today looking for a few books with my ten year old daughter. We asked for help and the woman just pointed in the direction. We looked and looked..... didn't find the title. We ASKED AGAIN..... she pointed in a different direction. We looked again.... nothing. While looking in the second direction, I heard the employee talking to another employee. She started talking about how she can't stand dealing with people complaining about resale values only being $5. Apparently they only purchase used books for $5 in bundle. Complain complain. Well if you don't like dealing with customers then retail is not a job for you. Plus I'm pretty sure you don't get paid to have social hour with your friend. Never coming back here. Sad because I actually like buying used.

Go here at least once a week to find new books to read. Great prices for books and great staff

Nice place to buy books. They Have many books. Kids section for all ages.

Excellent kids section. Best to go early before it gets destroyed. I go here for everything from fiction to graphic novels to classics. Can't best the price. Hard bound usually run $3-5 and soft covers $1-2. Check out the vintage books, too!

This place is my dream come true. I always leave with 3-6 books & never spend more than $10-18. The staff does an amazing job at supplying a beautiful selection of books. They feel brand new for a price u cant find anywhere else. I’ve picked up such cool finds I’d never heard of before, like Philosophical themes in the film Inception!! Staff is always super friendly & sweet. Always a pleasure to stop by.

The staff is always friendly. There is always a great selection of graphic novels. I personally went this last time for a book I needed for my job. It was right up front displayed in the window! You cannot get great books at a cheaper price with nicer people to help you out.

Great experience every time I visit. I always end up with way more books than expected!
