Great location, great layout, great food, great service. Chicken pesto wrap with avacado and artichoke hearts was delicious as was the margarita pizza. Onion rings are the best you will ever eat. Big fresh onions sliced daily and battered fried upon ordering.
I live in Covington, VA and there aren't too many places to go out to eat at. I thought I would take the 25 minute drive to WSS to investigate new places to eat. Glad I saw this place and gave it a try. I had the chicken parmesan and it was fantastic. I was sitting outside and the noisy traffic driving by was not too bad on a Sunday evening. I will be back!
Great service; great coffee on a chilly day. I got this burger with mac'n'cheese and bacon and their own BBQ sauce. Wow! What a meal; delicious and messy and incredibly satisfying. I'm a fan!
Delicious food, if you want to eat some delicious hamburgers come here, they are deliciousFood: 5/5
My daughter and I ate here on a recommendation from our Airbnb host check out The Guest House. It was FANTASTIC!! We both enjoyed the signature burger. The meat was so juicy and flavorful--probably one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. We had fries and onion rings on the side. The beer-battered fries were amazing. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was inviting. Overall great experience. Will definitely go back if we're ever in the area again.
We were staying at the Greenbrier for one night, and wanted to take a drive down the main drag. Decided to stop in for dinner because we realized we had not eaten all day. Sat at the bar, place was congenially busy. I had a martini, spouse had a Yingling, and we ordered a large sausage and mushroom pizza - it was awesome. Thinner crust, lightly salted and smelling freshly of yeast. Served hot and delicious. Nick, the bartender, was friendly and efficient. I’d highly recommend this place, and sincerely hope we make it back one day.
Magnificent food, not too pricey. Live music playing when we visited. Ordered pizza, salad, WV Egg Roll and Jerked Chicken Quesadilla! All were great! And the ketchup was to die for. Tasted just like homemade! Will definately return next time I'm n the area.
We visited 50 East on New Years Eve. It was a little busy but everyone was very friendly and attentive. The Bloody Mary is phenomenal and everyones meal was the best in a long time. I highly recommend the crab & artichoke dip. We will be visiting 50 East every chance we get.Food: 5/5
Overpriced mediocre food. The atmosphere and decor reflect a typical bar, but the restaurant is unsuccessfully trying to serve finer dining options. Sandwiches come with a bag of potato chips. During our entire dinner, there was an un-bussed table with food leftovers sitting out the full meal service. The server was friendly but struggled with drink refills, and meals were delivered staggered. I'd skip it and drive a little further next time.
Took the kids out to the breakfast buffet. Everything was great except they charged me for a buffet for my 2 year old. It sucks because she literally ate 2 pieces of bacon and a scoop of eggs. So kind of annoying but it's restaurant policy according to the waitress.Food: 4/5
