After our bike ride this was the perfect place to fill up. The food was so delicious with a nice relaxing setting. We had four different entries with four different opinions on which was best. Great food when you can't come up with a favorite, all so good.Food: 5/5
Decent. Busy pub style restaurant with a full bar and good service. Very busy when we went in but still got good service. The food I ordered was tasty and prepared well so this place gets high marks for service, quality and choices. I thought the atmosphere was a little too noisy and the decor was more corporate than personal but overall impression was good. I think that my favorite thing was my meal - a delicious salad!
We had a group of 5 ladies & we meet monthly. Have been here before. This experience was very uncomfortable. They had us in the buffet room & with a party of people celebrating a reunion. We should never been seated in the area where they had a reserved party. They were Extremely LOUD. And when asked manager to move us, he had no PR skills & said other side can be loud too. I told him no I sat on the other side & this was extreme situation.They were crowding around our table taking pictures,we felt we were in their way too. We could not even talk together. It was to the point of getting a headache & just wanted to get out of there.The manager knew they were being Loud & should not have put anyone in there. And we did have a reservation too! Thankfully food was good. Service was not. And to not compensate in some way for ruining our dinner plans is not acceptable. I will not be back or recommend this. I feel they screwed up on our reservation & just set up that table quickly in an area we should not have been in to just grab our money. Poor management & poor way to handle it. And they showed us that none of them from the hostess to the waiter to the manager cared about us. So I don't care to support this kind of treatment & "service". There are plenty of other good restaurants to go to out there. Good bye to this place.
A very nice place. Nothing to write home about but a clean pseudo old school steakhouse look. I was seated quickly a food can quickly. The odd part about thanksgiving was that everything on the plate was hot a ready, but the vegetables were cool. The flavors were very good but that dang broccoli just didn’t compliment, being so different in temperature. The waiter was prompt but not very social. Anyway, although the food was delicious for the most part the establishment as a whole felt staunchy.. Parking: No issues finding a parking spot and seems that a person could be dropped off at the curb next to the main entrance if needed without obstructing others from entering
Our church group of 11 had brunch Saturday September 17, 2023. Everyone was please with everything except another group was too loud. They needed a private room. Once they left, we really enjoyed ourself.Food: 5/5
I was a guest at a celebration brunch and it was amazing! There were so many food options and it was all delicious! The staff were all very friendly and quick to refill beverages and clear plates. I saw a few other celebrations going on there at the same time, which made the atmosphere even more joyous, but didn't slow down the staff from delivering a genuine from their heart desire for each guest to enjoy their experience. Plus, the fresh guacamole is a must-have, must have a mountain of it!
I ordered the Thai salad and the French onion soup. I decided to go with the salad because they had many salads on their menu and assumed they would serve me a nice salad. A good salad is small uniform bites put together in a tossed dressing. The lettuce was wet, so I know they did not properly prep the lettuce. The peppers were huge chunks, not even strips. Like someone quartered a pepper and said it was good. The chicken was not cut up and came on skewers. The dressing was on the side. To top it all off the bowl is this weird shape... how do you expect me to cut up all the ingredients your prep cooks were too lazy to do with a weird shape bowl? Should have brought me a chef knife and a cutting board. Because I had to take the salad home and properly prep it to eat. $16 for an entree salad, you would think it was presented nicer. If you plan to eat here, just get the steak and sides. Don't be disappointed with the salad like I was. FO French onion was mid. The server was mid, but it was homecoming night, and I don't think I'd be in the greatest mood either.
This place does great food at a reasonable rate. I don't get the impression that they specialize in something specific, however it does seem that they make quality food out of the best ingredients that they can get. Each time we have visited, it it's been very busy but service has been excellent. Their quality in food and service wouldn't happen without a well-trained staff. It's my opinion that they may have the edge over places like Kruse And Muer, to be fair Kruse And Muer maybe targeting a more upscale clientele with a more specialized menu. 5th Tavern is currently our favorite place to visit with their diverse menu and great service.
Went with a group for their brunch menu and to try their “Bottomless Mimosas”. Not super worth it. Spent most of the time looking for our waitress while my glass sat empty. Had to ask a different waitress if I could get a refill. The food was pretty good. If you get the bottomless mimosas, just make sure you stay on top and ask them for a refill because my glass sat empty for at least 20 minutes I timed it while trying to wait to find my waitress.
Our waitress was terrific. The food was delicious. The people sitting next to me asked about the cherry BBQ salmon I had and what get it again. YES, YES and YES!!Food: 5/5
