Absolutely gorgeous. I love going to the movies and always have. To see any movie in this theater is a real treat. There's a limited amount of showings and none are new movies. If you get the chance, definitely go. They also work on a mostly volunteer basis so donations are appreciated. They use REAL butter on the popcorn!
We were there for the Veterans day concert. The building is gorgeous and seemed in good condition still. Beautiful.
I am so glad they refurbished the 7th Street Theatre. Been here since the Silent Era. Last time I was here was 1966 with my cousins, aunt, grandma and my Mom. Double Feature with 101 Dalmatians and Sleeping Beauty. I am involved with the RUSTY SCUPPERS PIRATE DAZE. Our group pulled the boat out and dressed up as Pirates for the weekend.
This theater is super cute and a great place. I didnt even know it existed until i saw the olsen brothers there. It has an old place vibe because the amount of detail in the place. I would be willing to go back to see some plays there!
The theater is stunning! The architecture is just beautiful! It's so much larger inside than it looks outside. The popcorn was a bit soft and the man putting butter real butter on the popcorn didn't stir the melting butter in the crockpot but the prices of candy, drinks and popcorn were so great! Not a ripoff like other theatres. You pay a very reasonable price. This was my first time there and I will definitely be back! Clean and very nice people working there.
No other theater like it. Was able to see our daughter play one last time in Hoquiam. One of the many things we will miss about Hoquiam & Washington.
Everytime I've gone to an event at this place it's been a great experience. Feels like your stepping back in time when you see the theater for the first time. It never fails to capture my imagination
Went an saw the movie Twister. Love the old theater, used to perform there when in high school drama club
I haven't seen a movie or play in here yet, but it is BEAUTIFUL inside and I can't wait to give it a go!
Lovely historical building in downtown Hoquiam. Local theater shows and events in a cozy theatrical setting.
