85C Bakery Cafe - Fountain Valley

So back home in Canada Vancouver area, we have similar Asian bakeries like this, so it was a treat to be able to go to one in SoCal! Even nicer to just be able to sit there and enjoy the delicious baked goods they have to offer! We loved everything we got and will definitely be back to try out even more stuff well, me when I visit again!

My family and I stopped in for a few bakery items. This was my second time here. The customer service was very friendly. I like how everything‘s fresh and organized. We each chose a pastry to enjoy. I would recommend coming here. We ordered two chocolate croissants, a mango bun, strawberry crème, milk raisin bun & jalapeño bun.

Best Mango Slush ever! The Drink Order Kiosk means that you don't wait in line.

Came in for a birthday cake and walked out with the coffee creme brule cake. We were looking forward to having this cake but its drier than a desserts a$$. Not sure about the other cakes but highly recommend not getting this one. It seems like this cake sat out for quite some time. The bottom layer was the worst. If any owner/employee sees this ill be back to get a refund. Thanks for selling some cardboard.

This place is really nice. My first time here. Sea salt coffee still taste delicious. I always make it a point to stop by at least once whenever visiting CA. The pastries are always my fave.

First time to try this highly rated bakery. 1: How can you call it tiramisu when there is zero coffee flavor? It was white cake with some vanilla cream and a ton of cocoa powder on top. Never had such a bland tiramisu from any other place. 2: Lemon mini cupcakes have a wonderful smell but no flavor. The hint of lemon was so mild I had to focus all my senses to taste it. 3: Strawberry and cream cup is a cup full of whipped cream with some rubbery strawberry goo on top. 4: Chocolate cup was chocolate mousse with very rubbery chocolate ganache on top. Last note: We bought 8 items, spent $30 and will never return. The lack of flavor in all their products was very disappointing. The lack of interest and lack engagement from employees was discouraging.

Delicious! High quality French Vietnamese pasties, cupcakes , croissants and great tea flavors. The bakery is hard to find in the shopping center and once you find it you will always go back. The service is fast and there are son many options .. all delicious. Many options for tea too. Love it there. Enjoy !

I’ve been to most of the 85C locations in the OC area. This is a newer and smaller, but convenient and less crowded location. They have all the great Chinese breads, pastries, cakes and drinks you’d come to expect from the other locations. I enjoyed my visit here and would recommend it if you live nearby.

GOOD VALUE, LOTS OF CHOICES - Get there by 7pm! Good value, excellent presentation & warm environment - for a strip mall location. Purchased a variety of pastries & desserts, all very fresh tasting. The selection is fantastic & I would encourage visitors to try things out of their normal tastes. I am picky, but found almost every item to be delicious and had a real homemade tasty. I spent several years shopping bakeries in the area and found many places with amazing variety and quality. I would rank this store in the top 5 of all the bakeries I have ever frequented. Better flavor then Costco & Sam's Club bakeries - tastes fresh not preserved or frozen. Get there by 7pm for more selection, we arrived at 9pm to find limited selection. I have tried their breads before at a friends house & this led me to visit this location....happy I did. Prices are fair & on par with local grocery store bakeries. I am not a huge fan of do-it-yourself a la carte with trays, mostly because customers can be less than sanitary and touching everything they touch is not ideal. Overall it is not a deal breaker, the desserts are handled by the staff, breads are accessible similarly to local grocery store do-it-yourself displays. Employees are friendly, professional & eager to help which is nice. We visited the Fountain Valley store, I can't speak to the other locations. The desserts were very good, the cakes were amazingly delicate & light in texture which surprised me. The breads were delicious & in some cases more flavorful than certain desserts. OVERALL :: GREAT PLACE TO VISIT & I WILL RETURN...PROBABLY BEFORE 8pm NEXT TIME SO I CAN HAVE ACCESS TO MORE SELECTION. THIS PLACE GETS VERY BUSY AT TIMES, PLAN ACCORDINGLY.

Place is awesome!!! Its a must, i havent had anything i didnt like. And the brown sugar latte is great! Must try the items in the glass case! Allow the cakes and desserts are so bomb! My favorite the tiramisu and there's another with a chocolate powder on top...wish I remembered the name lol. Try um all!
