85th St Rainbow Laundry

No change in the machine Monday 10-02-23. 6am open Open for what I couldn't do my laundry I'm deep cleaning so I had extra. I loaded all my 4 machines ONLY to find no change in the machine. Whoever collected coins NEVER SPEAK. Bad customer service and the machines smell like mildew.. This WAS a good place. I came early I have an important appt. At 9. I won't get my things accomplished intime

The lady who cleans everything everyday is the sweetest,nicest lady ever! She’s always making sure everything is clean for everybody. She’s always restarting dryers to make sure people’s clothes are always dry she helps when you’re holding a baby who you can’t put down, she’s so helpful! Always clean in there!!!!!!!!

Washers did not spin out all the way. Texted number no response. Agree with some of the post about the smell and the cleanliness. Dryers also do not get hot enough, so you are having to keep restarting them like 3 or 4 times.

Was a nice place at 1st, but whoever own it is letting it go down. Went in last month & washers wasn't working the air wasn't working. Now the coin Machine isn't working. This is sad for the ppl in the area.

Fairly priced laundry mat with seemingly brand new washers and dryers + the drying is free! I only give them 4 stars because there wasn’t many places to fold laundry.

So move to a new house. Sold my washer and dryer with the old one. Been going to this laundromat for about the last couple months and I have to say every time I'm in there it's clean. The people are nice. The machines are top-notch and normally the drying is free. I can get in and out of there with 10 to 12 loads. Maybe even 14 in less than an hour and a half wash, dried and folded. I would recommend this place to anybody that wants to go to a reputable laundromat. All their machines are new, high quality, industrial. Crazy amounts of loads. Highly recommend is if you have to go to a laundromat

Machines are good but not much room to fold . Are the dryers not free on holidays? I sent my son there bragging about fryers being free and he said he had to pay .25 for 6 minutes and he ran it through 3xs and still didn't fully dry. I'm just wondering what changed from last week?

Washers are a little higher than some other laundromats, but with the free dryers I always spend less here than other places. Washers and dryers all seem to work well. Only issue I’ve had is that it’s frequently very crowded, it’s quite small. Parking is often a challenge as well, and you need to walk up a few steps to get to the door which can be tricky when juggling full baskets of laundry.

It should be mandatory for a laundromat to inform you when a machine is down an when the A/C don’t work.

Today was my first time at this laundry mat. The laundry mat was clean and all the machines work. The best part was the driers were free. The only reason I take off one star was because one of my washers leaked a little water on the ground and there is no bathroom or anywhere to get paper towles to clean it up, so I ended up just using one of my old kitchen towels. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be back.
