This place is pretty run down. Card readers didn't work. Go inside to pay to find the employees sitting on the counter. Pump the gas and find the receipt printer at pump out of paper. Chevron is supposed to be the best. I guess they didn't get the memo.
Nice local chevron. Doesn’t have every option like some of the larger gas stations. Clean and organized. Bathrooms could use some updating.
I went into Chevron tonight to get 3 bags of ice. I was greeted so kindly and helped right away. The cashier asked another employee to get my ice and he brought the bags to my car. I was so thankful by their kindness. I didn’t even ask them, they just did it. Will keep going there! Great service!
Rude My husband went in and bought a Subway meal while waiting for me to pick him up. It was 30 degrees outside so he staying in the sitting area. He goes there on a daily, and he is very clean cut looking. He did have to wait about 45 min to an hour before I was able to pick him up. One of the employees says to him, "Are you going to buys anything else?" My husband says, "Probably not. I'm just waiting for my wife to pick me up" The employee says, "Well you are making the customers uncomfortable, can you leave?" AGAIN! He DID buys something already! He looks clean cut! He was minding his own business. He was only their for 45 minutes maybe an hour It was 30 degrees outside. This is really bad customer service and I will never go to Chevron again!
BEWARE of the old and outdated carwash. My car sustained damage when pulling into the carwash due to a sharp metal edge that is perfect height for massive rim damage. Walked in and asked the manager about it and he said with a smug smile, "Didn't you see the sign that says we're not responsible for car damage?" Sign is almost unreadable and purposely out of the way. I'm sure I'm not the only one to have this happen as it's in a spot that's nearly unavoidable. Go to the Maverick across the street for gas. At least they treat you with some level of respect.
Never use this place! I bought $53 in gas and their most expensive car wash today. After going through the car wash I noticed that both drivers side wheels were damaged by the metal guide bar. I have a stock car with stock wheels and tires. I called and talked with Andy who told me there was nothing he could do, no apologies no anything. I will never use this gas station again and most importantly this car wash. This is your warning don't use the car wash! I have lived in the Layton area for the last 10 years and I am very disappointed by their customer service. I know they have made plenty of money from myself and my family but no more.
I love this Chevron! It is newly remodeled! They now have my favorite tea I can only find at Harmons or Sprouts. They are so friendly when I go into their store. They don't serve food like Subway at this location but they have morning breakfast items to buy.
I went to grab me a 32oz soft drink today and the cashier tells me that I need to pay a minimum of $2 for now on! How ridiculous! However he let me pay the $0.95 for my drink which was nice. I have came to you guys for a while now and I don’t think it’s worth coming anymore if I have to pay $2 minimum. I’ll be going to Maverick to get my drink for now on.
More expensive than the Maverick across the street.
Always have an issue at the pump not taking my credit card , it swipes inside store fine , I tried to bring it to cashiers attention this morning and he just wanted to argue with me saying it’s my banks fault which it isn’t because card will run fine inside store , rule #1 jerk customer is always right ! I’ll take my business across the street jerk ! I won’t darken your doorstep anymore !!
