First time guests at this amazing Cuban restaurant. Found it by chance on our way back from the city. Great location with several outdoor dining areas. The staff was very friendly and efficient and the food was outstanding. I can only highly recommend this restaurant, and if you want any drinks you’ll have to bring your own. Great place, all around!

Loved the empanadas de carne molida, pollo fricase was delish with plantains and rice. It was very filling. The washroom was clean. Everyone that works there was so nice. I will love to come back and try other items in the menu. I do recommend to everyone that was to try something deliciously different.Recommended dishesMaduros - Sweet Plantains, Fricase De Pollo

Beautiful on the corner with plenty of outdoor searing. The best Cuban I ever tastes. We also got a steak, recommended by our waiter.  Definitely,  we will be back!Food: 5/5

Great food options. I got the oxtails, rice/beans, and yucca. Make sure you put the hot sauce the make on your rice and oxtails!! The hot sauce is divine and so was the food. Great location on the corner with an outdoor patio vibe for warm days and the summer.Food: 4/5

We went here recently this past Saturday for a birthday lunch! Orlando, manager of the location was amazing  He greeted us and made sure we were having a great time. The Armitage location is the one we went to. There's also a location on Clybourn small Cafe style. For appetizers, we ordered beef empanadas6! They were so cripsy and delicious. They come with 2 sauces; chipotle and onions and green sauce. For the entree, i ordered the churrasco skirt steak and fries! Unforuntately, the Chimichurri sauce wasn't quite provided for us but they did make an alternative avocado salsa for us to try after asking our waiter for alternative sauce 4-5 times Hence, the 4 stars  The steak was delicious and yellow or white rice can be ordered with it. Anyhow, the atmosphere and location and weather was perfect for the celebration. The restaurant performed an outstanding Happy Birthday song with instruments and provided a chocolate cake slice optional: great selection of other desserts like cheesecake, tres leche, etc. If you love cuban food, this place will hit the spot for you!!  Kid-friendliness: I saw families bringing in their children and babies . I believe there is a kid friendly menu.  Parking: Street parking is available just across the restaurant. There is a no parking tow zone on the street for Monday-Friday. However, there is ample parking spaces on the neighboring streets.  Wheelchair accessibility: There&#39;s one slight step to come into the restaurant but it&#39;s all one floor. You can use a wheelchair to enter but it&#39;s a bit narrow with the tables and chairs. When I went on Saturday around 3pm it was not that populated so there was a lot of space to move around.

Very good food and the atmosphere is great. The only thing is that you have to wait forever to get in touch with your server after you get served with the food.Food: 5/5

Looking for lunch and ended up here. The vibe is chill with music playing in the background and the Cuban decor on all the walls was really dope. I started with empanadas shrimp, beef, and chicken and I'll rate each one: Shrimp 9.2, Chicken 8.3, Beef 7.0. Each one were good but the shrimp hands down was the winner for me. It also came with two different sauces one very creamy which was my favorite and one more oil-based sauce.  I ended with a Cubano sandwich which I really enjoyed too. The sandwich was flavorful the meat, cheese, and pickles all went together so well...no bad bite here. Overall a good spot to grab a bite to eat. 8.4

Lunch time is the best time to come here since it’s not super crowded.  I had some down time so why not come in the middle of the week to this gam?  I did their PAN CON LECHON which has tender Roasted pork, citrus mojo, grilled onions, shoestring potatoes and fried sweet plantains. It was a solid sandwich but I do wish there was a tad more spice. That’s me thought because I should’ve inquired about any hot sauce or salsa on the side.  The interior def gives off a vibe out of Miami/ Key West area - I didn’t say Cuba bc I’ve never been.  Super great food, service and staff!  Parking can be tricky just be patient and you’ll find a meter!

Saw this restaurant on diners, drive-ins, and dives, and knew I had to try it when I got to Chicago. I am so glad I did. The food was great and so was the service. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
