The service alone is a poor and if I could id rate it a zero. The secretary whose ment to be a representation of the place as a whole has no manners and literally looks annoyed and dismissive. No etiquette whatsoever, the towels are torn the sheets had blood stains which looked like bed bugs. The escoter who is the secretary Brenda has no hospitality skills she gets annoyed by doing the bare minimum. Would genuinely rate the place a zero
Decent rooms. There were no proper mirror for blow drying hair though. Bed was soft but comfy. Good curtains to block out light. Parking lot is very small, we had problems to park on most days. Breakfast was tasty although some sausages would be a good addition to the eggs and bacon. Some of the other guests had problems with lost underwear. Overall OK.
Pool was not clean, the place is selfie catering but they don't provide equipments. No microwave no dishes. Kettle was rusty inside and they only give one towel you have to use it for 3days and they give attitude when you ask for new towels. The owner is not nice you have to tip toe around her
I enjoyed my stay at the guesthouse. It is clean and well kept. The rooms are all unique, spacious and well decorated. The Lady in charge is very friendly. Prepares great breakfast and always checks if you are comfortable. The guestshouse is also near shops which makes it more convenient.
Great guesthouse in Walmer, close to the airport. We only stayed one night, but it was very comfortable, clean, and good breakfast the next morning, with amazing coffee! We would like to suggest some improvements: bigger and better towels, and an electric blanket for the bed, as it can be very cold there in winter. Would definitely stay there again!
Place is very clean. Room was cold although there was a small wall heater. The dining room was cosy but cold. The breakfast and supper was great. Close to shop and other entertainment. Airport is also very close. Will stay their again.
I stayed for work, and had the most amazing stay. From the hosts to the cleaning staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and accommodate my strange hours. Breakfast every morning was 5 star.
Very disappointed booked a cottage got given a room overlooking car park. Very noisy. Not given wifi password. Single candle for loadshedding. Cupboard doesn't open and parking highly inadequate. Bed was comfortable and pleasant shower.
Very bad service no peace of mind at all it was just the waste of money we were not happy at all,because they were very unprofessional making a noise at night they dont respect their guests, not even 1 glass to even drink waterRooms: 1/5
The second time I have stayed there on business. Staff friendly and helpful. Pleasant breakfast. Foam mattress sank to the boards in an hour and woke with a sore back.
