Awesome service from Mary!!! She is the absolute best. The manager on shift was amazing!!! He made the experience 5000x better aswell. Quite honestly we were not planning on going to 86 public, but the manager convinced us to give it a try, and it was probably the best decision we made. They were super accommodating towards my dietary restrictions and made sure everything was okay all the time. Truly 10000/10 well done to Mary and the amazing manager who served me and my partner. Sorry I'm not too sure how to spell the managers name but nonetheless I would totally recommend this place for a chilled dinner or drink on a Sunday night when it's not packed. Its truly amazing, I have absolutely nothing bad to say at all. Thank you guys for the amazing service and experience!! We will definitely be back soon!

86 public on Illovo has a great vibe to it, as well as location. You have a great sense of openness to the restaurant when you are seated, unlike other restaurants where you feel enclosed, so it’s quite refreshing. The background music is cool, and gets you feeling good together with the laid back and easy going vibe of the place and waiters. The tables weren’t as clean as one would hope, but still fine nonetheless. As mentioned, it was an easy going place, which made it difficult at times to get a hold of someone when you needed something. Disappointing fact for me was them advertising like crazy for the Hoegaarden beer and they had absolutely no stock, which is really unusual. We had the pizzas, and as expected, they were really really good. The base of the pizza is world class, dare I say. What confused me was the they mentioned bacon toppings, but that isn’t bacon what we all know as bacon but more like sliced ham which is frustrating I suppose. Nonetheless, it is a great spot to go to in the evening for a great vibe or afternoon if you want to have a relaxed and easy going time! Worth coming back to again though, that’s for sure!!

Totally loved it. The music was on point. The atmosphere was great. Our waitress was friendly, visible as busy as she was, she made sure that we were taken care of until we left. The food and cocktails were out of this world. The bathrooms were kept clean all throughout the night.

Lovely up market atmosphere. Great food. Their pizza's are great.

Nice vibe, music and drinks. That's where it ends! Stick to chips and drinks. Overpriced menu especially considering the quality, you really need to up your game! Tough ribs is their style, they don't believe in ribs falling off the bone, according to the waitress that's how they are served!! The ribs and wings were served dipped in marinade instead of basted during grilling. I won't go back to try anything else.

Really cool spot to chill and have a drink or 3, foods great too. Music was super awesome. Well placed, easy to Uber too, close to the main road.

Place looked promising with all the reviews and ratings, but food turned out to be average. They have a designated Uber waiting zone just outside the door. Other than that, quite a disappointing experience.
