To the manager, Charles, and his team that assisted me today 10/06/2023.... Thank you so so much for helping me. Your willingness to go the extra mile to assist me is greatly appreciated, even though I'm 300km away. They don't always have what you need. The meat, cheese, and bread sections are very basic. Rolls are never fresh, and the meat section only ever has a few items. We only go here when we know they have it. Otherwise, we go past to PnP.

I would just like to express my gratitude with Charles Manager who have been extremely helpful to try and help a friend in need. Thank you Charles. You are salt to the earth.

Did our holiday shopping there last week. This morning I unknowingly dropped my wallet on the toilet floor and came back to Durban. We phoned them and someone had handed it in. I drove back and Nicoleen returned my precious wallet with everything intact. Thank you Abingdon Spar staff for being so honest.

While the staff are friendly the Spar itself is ridiculously expensive. I can honestly say it's the most expensive Spar I have been to. I only used to shop at Spar, in Gauteng, then we moved down to the coast and man oh man was I surprised by this Spar. I know they are privately owned and this owner is just taking everyone for a ride. Also, limited stock, no butchery or bakery. Absolutely will not shop here. Horrible.

The Spar is very expensive. We went looking for shot glasses, melktert and sardines. No shot glasses or melktert. You can see that the sardines were defrosted and frozen again. At least we got on floor service when asking if a product was sold there.

Terrible Spar. By far and I mean by far the worst Spar I have shopped at. By far and I mean by far the most expensive Spar I have shopped at. The pricing shows the exploitation of convenience. Limited stock, due to size constraints I suppose but nope,will not shop here again. Terrible place.

Wowzer expensive compared to Durban Stores. Feel sorry for folks that live here and get charged holiday pricing. Very dark during loadshedding as well.

Shelves not stocked, not all products available. A lot of unauthorized people approaching you or grab your trolley insisting to unpack, Very unsafe parking area due to a lot of bystanders. With shop nothing wrong but will not recommend anyone going there due to all the bystanders, begars an hawkers.

Very neat, friendly staff. You can get almost anything. It would be nice if the braai section can have a stand with more spices etc. Overall it's a spacious, great place to shop.
