Store crammed full of cheap items for the staff and kids to get whilst on holiday-wouldn’t normally consider this a shopping place, but if you are desperate, I suppose it’s ok. Quality isn’t great but is cheap-however staff are completely incompetent. Shop here only if you have to on holiday.
the norm these days are no service at all to the worst service, the personnel don't even know what they are selling when queried to items, the place is a disorganized over stocked mess and not sorted by category
I was treated like a common criminal today at your branch in Phalaborwa and all because maintaining your security device at the door does not seem to be a high priority. I was called back into the store and searched right at the door in full view of everybody walking past. It was the most embarrassing thing that I've ever experienced. Even my bag with 2 clothing items bought at another store made the security device beep even after I removed the shoes in them which I bought in Ackermans...this should have made it very clear that the device was not working. Needless to say I took all items I bought right back to the cashier and insisted on a full refund because after that ordeal I definitely am not interested to support your shop in any way or form. Every customer coming into your store leaves an ambassador to your brand...rather let them leave with a good feeling than embarrass them like I was embarrassed today. And your staff can do with some training in customer relations because they have none...they don't smile or even attempt to assist the clients, they'd rather just stand and look at you trying to reach the items hung up almost against the ceiling and only spring into action when asked! Not cool and not acceptable...
Everything I bought from ackerman tear the first time I try to use them. It's like they sell clothes that have been stored for ages. A waste of money.
Never enough cashiers. Shop is over stocked. Telephone is never answered
They willing to help you if you need some support
