My favorite airport in the area. Conveniently situated between Johannesburg and Pretoria. Much less traffic to contend with than OR Tambo. The new parking lot is a welcome addition, making it a lot easier to get to the main building, especially when it is raining.

It a very efficient airport with not too much people and little traffic. But still adhere to 2 hours before the flight rules. The viewing deck is a must for last goodbye waves and plane lovers and is also a restaurant Wiesenhof which food is amazing. Strick security measures do apply.

Lanseria Airport is a regional airport that also offers international flights mostly private. The facilities are very good.  The staff are friendly and helpful if a a little slow at times. Generally a stress free travel experience and a very well run airport. I rate Lanseria four-star, I would most certainly recommend it and I would use it again.

Top class smaller airport. Plenty of parking and ease of movement without the crowds. Airport and airline staff are friendly and efficient.

Nice small and easy. However the road and entrance to airport is far too dark at night. It's very unsafe.  Robots not working, Stop signs not observed etc etc. Safer to go to O R Tambo

I love how fast and efficient this airport was this morning.  Gentleman who booked me in real friendly and helpful. All observed staff interacted with very courteous and friendly. I prefer this airport

It is always a pleasure to go here. It is clean and professional and provides much faster service than some of the larger airports. And you dont have to worry about not being able to find your car!

It seems like the rules at the pick up and drop off parking changes every week. In the past you could park and wait for the passengers at the main building entrance. Then I was not allowed to help my sister in law push her heavy trolly into the building as I am not allowed to go in. They would rather see her battle doing it. Now we are not even allowed to leave our cars and must guide your arrivals where you are parked where you just could have fetched them from the entrance. The security also threatened to clamp my car wheel because I left my vehicle and I walked like 10 meters away from it. When the security waited by my car they were also leaning against it. Don't lean against my car, you didnt pay for it so don't act like it is yours. Lanseria may not do anything to fix their problems but just remember these three easy rules: 1 Never leave your car. 2 Guide your arrivals where you parked like you are busy with a television maze game. This is more exciting when it is really busy and you are in a hurry. 3 Don't offer to help your family, friends or colleagues with their luggage. Drop them off and leave.

Drop off and Go is not the right option for you if you want to get out of your vehicle and help your family with their huge luggage. The best option would be to park in the designated parking area where you can leave your car and assist your family. Drop off and Go is supposed to be exectly that, there should be little to no reason for you to get out of the car, except to help get stuff out of the boot and then get back in the and drive off.

It serves is basic purpose, but there isn't really much to do there.
