African bank Head office

African bank deserves less than a 1 star rating. I am a new client. Applied for a loan in December 2021. On 15 December I made my first installment payment of 6200 towards the loan. In January 2022 I was debited twice 6200 & 6161. I didnt know why. I reversed the one amount because they are only entitled to a single debit per month. A few days later, I am told via sms that my account is in arrears. I call them, to my surprise they tell me that I reversed a debit order on the 15th of December 2021. I sent my bank statement to them showing that I never reversed a debit order on the 15th of December 2021. Again on the 15th of February 2022 I was debited twice 6200 & 6161. I once more reversed the one amount. I contacted their call centre again and I was told the same story. I took my documents and went to an African bank branch at the Glen mall and handed my statement to them. I was informed that the matter has been resolved. A few days later I get an sms telling me that I am in arrears again. I downloaded a statement from their app. The statement shows that I am in arrears. I am being charged interest for nothing. I have given them the proof but they still do as they please. They are in breach of a contract but my credit score gets affected and I am being charged interest for nothing. If this is not sorted soon, please serve summons and let's go to court. Or I'd like to deal with a senior official. I WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND THIS BANK TO ANYBODY.

They send your account from one EDC to another after account is paid they really don't even deserve a star ... I sent 10 million emails not one has got back to me

I have three investment accounts with the African Bank. I received an SMS from the Bank informing me that one of my matured investments could not be deposited into my personal bank account for the reason that my bank account details were incorrect but this proved to be false when I confirmed my details with African Bank. I got no explanation for this false claim and after my money was automatically re-invested! It makes me wonder if this was not a ploy for a forced investment. What if I needed the money!!

Very poor service,Actually nonsense of a service dumb customer care yoh it's a disaster of a bank,my husband has since reported a fraud where a 100000 went missing and he was advised that its a minor thing they will investigate within a month but it has been four month now no one is saying anything he keeps on visiting their branch and they tell him it's out of their hands blah blah blah what rubbish is that

Im so fed up with african bank i have a arangement for R3000 per month.They simply deduct double every month R6000 so that you cant reverse the other R3000 worst service company ever.Will advise no one to deal with this company unprofesional and dont do as they say dont trust them dont make arangements with them they simply do what they want.

Worst bank ever!!! Staff incompetent. Can't resolve anything. Worst mistake ever to take a product from them

The call center makes you hold for ever after answering your call they ask you to give pin you receive then the call will be drop it happens twice

I was just searching the internet for an email address for African Bank and I cant find one. I trying to get one of my 2019 account statements! Help.
