The overarching goal of the ANCL is to contribute to the development of democracy and constitutionalism, the protection of rights and the rule of law in Africa by providing a forum in which those involved in making, implementing and monitoring the implementation of constitutions and the promotion of rights can communicate with one another effectively. In so doing, the ANCL will foster a deeper understanding of constitutional government and the challenges which it presents in Africa, and facilitate the development of constructive responses to such challenges.
L’objectif primordial du RADC est celui de contribuer au développement de la démocratie et du constitutionalisme, la protection des droits et l’état de droit en Afrique, en fournissant un forum dans lequel ceux qui sont impliqués dans l’élaboration, la mise en œuvre, le suivi de l’application de la Constitution et la promotion du droit peuvent effectivement se communiquer les uns aux autres. Pour ce faire, le RADC favorisera une profonde compréhension du gouvernement constitutionnel et les défis qu'il présente en Afrique, et facilitera le développement de réponses constructives à ces défis.
