Mid-2023 The food still tastes great. Only huge drawback is the prices which have gone up by almost 100%. Rather disappointing considering it's African food and western food e.g KFC is way cheaper. Meals such as egusi with fufu or jollof with assorted meat used to go for not more than R100 last year. Now it's almost R200. Unless prices are reduced, never going back. *************** Mid-2022 After having tried egusi soup from various restaurants across Joburg, this restaurant has the best egusi hands down. ************** Superb West African food. Thoroughly enjoy all the time. I normally order jollof rice, as well as egusi and intestine soup. They also never disappoint with the food deliveries, comes properly sealed and fresh. I highly recommend.

Love this place and I can't wait to go back. While items are a little on the pricey side, I didn't mind footing the bill because the food was lovely. Could possibly have been the best Egusi soup I've tasted. I would say that prices on UberEats and within the store are very similar albeit the variety online isn't the same as when ordering in store. Brought over someone that has never tried Western African food and he thoroughly enjoyed his meal.

Must try Nigerian food. Very colourful and tasty food. African traditional food at it best.

Horrid food, super expensive for no reason. I asked for Okazi only for the “Nigerian”lady to ask me what is that, she’s never heard of Okazi soup. Anyway I ordered stew and rice, was told rice on its own is R40 and stew is R80. They’re very careful with the meat, 2 small pieces of tripe and 1 glistening small piece of cow skin. I was appalled, the pinkish stew was drenched in oil. The Egusi soup even worse, 2 pieces of small cow legs plus a piece of tripe. I got home tried to eat but threw everything in the outside dustbin where it belongs. Super horrible is an understatement. The pap that came with Egusi was under cooked. That place is fraud for real, damn flies buzzing all over the food was a turn off. To top it all the two cans of Fanta are R25 each like somebody put a cap on this daylight robbery. I’ll never set foot there again Dietary restrictions: Food is horrible, too much oily soup and barely no meat

They serve cold food. I mean who wants cold take out? I'm taking out because I want to eat the food on the go. Is it not obvious to have hot take out?

Ridiculously expensive!!!! You will pay R100+ for just egusi soup and yam. The worst part is that,their menu has no pricing so I guess their prices are a surprise!

These filled my stomach with strictly African foods that reminds of when I was a kid growing up. Delicious and really appreciated.

Bad service, food way too expensive R100 for what I got. Ordered a beef stew which I got home to find was only tripe in the meal. I've had Nigerian food that was lovely. This was daylight robbery.

Not worth it's price. Extremely little food for so much? You can get better quality and price else. I have made my last visit.
