Agatha Spa

We will not book to stay at The Coach House again. Our group of 4 stayed in 2 rooms for 3 nights. The 1st 2 nights were wonderful. We really enjoyed the place. The views, the food, the bed the fireplace...all super! Then came the 3rd night. What a disappointment! The noise started at about 11pm just as we were falling asleep. Two busses of people arrived with huge luggage and trailers. Loud talking, laughing, shouting and screeching. The sound of vehicles starting and stopping and idling. Trailers unhitching and hitching right outside our room. More talking in loud voices. More shouting. More screeching. And it went on and on and on..... Around 2am it died down a little bit and I thought " Thank goodness"! I can finally sleep... But then....around 4am it started again... I feel like I never slept much the whole night.... The reason we booked The Coach House is because it promised to be a peaceful and quiet getaway but at the end of the day we got exactly the opposite. Our friends in room 3 had the same experience Surely there should be security in a place like this? Security that will enforce rules like silence at certain times? The 4 of us paid good money for a very disappointing experience. The more I think about it the more disappointed I am. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful breakaway, this is NOT it.... We will not stay there again....

The Coach House Hotel was fantastic. Blessing the GM was an absolute star. The menu was wonderful, a mix of unique takes on traditional food. The Spa treatment was fantastic . Although it is not a five-star rated hotel, it's charming team, location, and access to the broader region really places it right up there.Rooms: 5/5

Their customer service is very poor. The food is terrible. They accepted our booking knowing very well that they were fully booked, then we were transported to a filthy, substandard place. What a terrible way of conducting business. The manager on site was very rude. No remorse at all.Rooms: 2/5

If you really want to have a good feeling of nature and have a really 5 star treat this is the place. In the morning is so cool and you will hear birds singing to you through your window. It is the place to be for everyone at least once in your lifetime. You won’t regret

The place is beautiful,with breathtaking views, still warm enough to get an ice-cream in winter.Its out of town,curvy road in the mountains, suggest not driving late if going for the first time. Food & drinks: Rearsranr serves the best breakfast:Try the Coach house breakfast

We had a fantastic stay while we were here for the weekend. The Venue seems locked in time with old history pieces preserved including the original title deed that is on display. Great food for breakfast and dinner and also lovely walking routes in the gardens between the rooms. Rooms: The suit was comfortable and very quaint wit some old pieces of history that is reflected in some of the furniture. The only thing that could have made it better was instead of having two separate chairs on the veranda have a couch or something similar Walkability: The Venue has a few parts that you can walk in between the rooms with beautiful garden views Noteworthy details: The lounge area has lots of pieces of history from the Old Coach House back in the day and he's worth a visit if you are into that kind of thing

We booked for 3 nights and checked out after the 1st. The staff are super friendly and helpful but the hotel has fallen from its 5 star rating to a 3-star and is falling apart. The views are spectacular but when you look down at the physical building and the infrastructure it’s crumbling. Nothing is well looked after. So sad to see what was clearly a beautiful hotel go to ruin. I won’t name all the things wrong. There were too many.

The hotel was amazing and the staff were super friendly. Would love to visit again and enjoy more of the surrounding attractions.Rooms: 4/5

All thr clients we've had to drop off and pick up has great comments about the hotel they enjoy the view the place and silence you get up there and not forgetting the profetional service they got during their stay.Rooms: 5/5

Images on website are completely misleading. Room is outdated, curtains were broken, room smelt damp and musty. Bath is old and yellow. Building in the room next door upon arrival with loud banging into our hotel room. Viewed the room and indoor pool and went to check out and book another hotel immediately. Management didn’t respond to my request for a refund and do not answer calls. Terrible service and rooms. Would never recommend this hotel for a comfortable and clean stay.
