Was in Port Elizabeth from the Gold Coast, Australia. Drove past, saw the shop, popped in to see what was in-store. Always looking for the next, ‘big thing / something different’ to catch more fish. Chad was great and I left the store with a fair few lures we don’t get in Oz. The ‘Alcock’ lure models. Have still not given them a go, but will keep everyone posted once I’ve given them a go. Great place, great service and even better beggar outside! I bought 2 new lures there, that turned out to be so good at catching things it managed to catch a rock on first cast. Now the hook strength is also phenomenal as my rod broke before the line did. My final rating: 7 cats out of 13 coffees

Read a post that was placed on Google, and being new in the area, decided to see for myself. Yes, they are absolutely great, got the best advice for the areas to fish in, the right bait to use. Got a great deal on all the products purchased. They are definitely 5 stars!!!! After buying at Alcocks for the past 3 years, I have to say they are still fantastic!! Personal service and always make time to have a chat with you!!!

These guys should get a 6 star rating. If you are an absolute noob like me, they will get you setup and confident in mere seconds. I learned more in 2 minutes talking to Chad than I have in the last 2 weeks of internet searching, nothing beats a proper conversation with a person who possesses the wealth of knowledge they have.
