I had a terrible experience at Alert Locksmiths, the owner is the rudest most vile person I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with in business. After destroying my watch he refused to compensate me, all he was prepared to do was to "waive the R26 repair cost." How cheap and low can you go. Lol. Anyway I've only lost a watch, that excuse for a man lost every ounce of whatever decency he may have had.
Absolutely appalling customer service from their shoe division. Left feeling extremely upset with a poorly repaired item. The man I assume is the owner responded rudely, demanded that I leave the store even though I approached him politely with my query and was not in any way demanding my money back but just a tip from him as the professional about how the marks they had left during the pair could be removed. I was even more than willing to do it myself. He did not make an effort to try to assist or apologize, instead he immediately went into defensive mode, without being provoked, upon realizing that I had concern. It’s terrible to experience such in this day and age, especially given that customers are oftentimes understanding that things don’t always go right. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all and it was interesting to hear from others that they too have experienced the same.
This store just doesn't care, I set an appointment for their callout for two dates, no communication and nobody comes when appointment set up and took time off work for this and they said they would call me. You have to keep phoning and they always forget who you are despite speaking to the same guy. Business like this should stop wasting people's time and just say no.
