After booking in October, I was informed today that our booking has been cancelled due to new ownership and apparent renovations, this only 1 week from our planned date of stay. No alternative for accommodation was provided and the new owners merely state that they are only prepared to refund the deposit and not financially assist with the inconvenience and increased costs to stay at another establishment. If this is how they are starting their business, I would caution any future clients.
We had a lovely stay. The apartments are clean and really well maintained. Huge compliment to Hein for his professionalism ... we'll definitely be back.
We had a wonderful stay. Wished it would have been longer. The room, facility, meals and outside area were of outstanding standards. The accommodation is affordable and well situated. We decided to book the room only and have breakfast at different places every day and on the last day, we were offered a complimentary breakfast - loved the gesture and the breakfast was very nice with a menu to choose from and cereals and other foods on the buffet.
My daughter and I stayed at the Alpha Du Cap for 5 glorious days. It was my second time there and I would definitely stay again. Johannes and Pamella were wonderful.They went out of their way to help us with all our needs. Breakfast was great, a large variety of food to chose from. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the soft robes are a nice touch of luxury. We enjoyed spending the warm summer evenings in the garden by the pool. Definitively worth recommending.
We had a very best experience .The place is very neat and smells very fresh. The staff is very friendly and caring.You get what you hoped for. We thank you Pamella and Johannes for checking with us regularly and making sure that we visit the popular Ostrich ranch. We will definitely come back.

Very good location for a range of good restaurants and walks to the beach. The staff was welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you Pamella & Joy for making our stay comfortable. We will be back next year.
Such a great host. Very homely. Great value for money and the proximity to the beach and restaurants ensures that I'll stay here again. And they made me the cutest breakfast pack since I couldn't sit in.
Every time I go to Cape Town with my family who visits from overseas we stay in this guest house. It is a lovely place with a nice breakfast buffet, swimming pool and nicely sized rooms & bathrooms. It is a bit of a drive to Cape Town Waterfront, but it is close to other nice places like cocktail bars, ons huissie, the beach.
We had a fantastic stay at your nice relaxing and beautifully clean place. Love that its close to everything, especially the beach. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Will surely stay again when we are back in Cape Town.
