I was here today with my daughter! She is just gone two! We had the best day, the lazy river was her favourite! Water is lovely and warm, just up at the kiddies area where the little slides and ship are there was draft coming from opening of lockers but this wasn’t a problem for me my little girl got cold so we went back into big pool which she enjoyed more in there.Very clean and showers were great! Can’t wait to return again! Lots of staff very helpful and very good atmosphere.
Great 2hrs of fun for all the family. We had 2 adults and 6 kidsranging in age from 4 to 11 and they all thoroughly enjoyed it. Long ques for slides was only negative.
This water park was a disappointment. When we arrived the staff informed us that no slides were open, somehow we missed this information on their website. The slides are only open during the weekends. Everybody walks in with their shoes in to the changing/locker room area which leaves the floor very dirty full with sand and mud. In my opinion it’s not very nice to go around barefoot in the dirt. The person who left a review saying it’s “warm” it’s is NOT. Is cold. In fact, very cold. Our whole visit lasted for 40-50 minutes. The best part with our visit was when it ended.
Fantastic trip. Brought my almost 4 year old daughter to get her used to a pool before holidays and it didn't disappoint at all. The children's section is perfect and it's great that it's the first thing when you come out of the changing rooms. The wave pool was great fun too, and lots of lifeguards around for the whole trip. Also great for families that it's all individual changing cubicles rather than gender separated.
I recently visited AquaZone, which has fallen into disrepair since my last visit four years ago or more. One of the first things I noticed was the presence of algae around the pool water line in numerous areas. It was quite off-putting to see fingerprints wiping off the algae as if it hadn't been properly cleaned. The metal railings throughout the park were severely rusted, giving an overall impression of neglect. The overall upkeep of the park could have been better. Maintenance appeared to be lacking, with signs of wear and tear evident in various areas. The lack of attention to detail was evident and significantly detracted from the overall experience. Another issue I encountered was the peculiar entrance and exit arrangement. Upon entry, visitors were instructed to walk around the back of the building through a tent, which was an presumably to accommodate COVID-19 safety measures. However, on exit, we were directed to walk out the front of the building. This inconsistency needed to be clarified and counterintuitive. On a positive note, I must commend them for the abundance of lifeguards present. Their presence provided reassurance and safety to visitors enjoying the attractions. It was evident that the management took safety seriously in this regard. In conclusion, my visit was disappointing. The presence of algae, rusted railings, and the overall lack of maintenance created a bad experience. While the plentiful lifeguards were a positive aspect, more was needed to overshadow the park's shortcomings. I hope that the management takes note of these issues and takes the necessary steps to improve the overall condition and upkeep in the future.
All the slides are very sore on your back. The pool is dirty. There was blood all over the steps. You have to pay to use dryers etc. It is cold when out of the pool. Nice staff. Wouldn't go again
Great place to ruin your back to! The 2 slides are perfect for it, as the joins are not flush so be prepared for some therapeutic massage while sliding down. Third slide with raft is OK. Wave zone is offline, probably too expensive to run. The surf rider is ok. And that's it you won't want to stay 2 hrs in here. Oh yes and do bring coins and your own hair dryer.
Entry system that's in place is ridiculous for a national arena. If you arrive before your ticket time there's a cafe inside but it's at the main entrance, be prepared for a walk to the poorman's entrance because they won't allow you enter through the turnstyles. Even better if it's raining and you've got small kids. Makes total sense, NOT. Aquazone itself already looks tired and poorly maintained.
The place is dirty the steel is all rusty the windows are filthy. You must bring your own towels you have no where to sit. There is no coffee shop that you can use indoor if you go out to it you can not go back in. One euro for a locker each time you open it so when you are there with kids you need plenty of coins. There is no rings for the lazy river. the stone effect is a few rocks in cement with plastic flower pots well just really bad. The design is simply dark and clinical. Dressing rooms are a tiny size of a small shower so enjoy changing with the kids. We have been to many waterparks in Europe and it is not hard to make things nice and interesting but this is not the case here. I find it hard to understand there is no floor hygiene it is dirty. I never have given such a bad review for a waterpark but it was really not good.
Hi I’m jasmine Richard Hegarty’s daughter and I have been to Aqua zone about three or four times and I had a great experience the only thing I would change would probably be to have more things for kids my age 8+ there is lots of things for babies but apart from that I would highly recommend it! I’m Dylan, the boy in the family, and the youngest I really enjoyed the green slide but I wash there were more things for age 5+. It is a fun place though and enjoyed the lazy river!
