Did not hate it because I disliked it, but hated it for what it has become. Yes it is mostly about Afrikaner history, but there is some truth in that Afrikaner history. What should have happened instead of letting it go down like this was to tell more of the history from the Ndebele Side! Explain the significance of the Makapansgat Caves to the Ndebeles instead of just the fossil history. Exhibitions need lighting. How much do lightbulbs cost? How do you fix an exhibit with a packaging tape? How do you let visitors roam around without a guide. This is a total let down! It is shameful!
Closed on day when advertised to be open. Dissappoinment in view of fact that we travelled from PE to pay a visit. Rude security extremely uninterested in requests for assistance.
