EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Changing faces through art has always been the African way of life, from generation to generation of the African people and their culture art comes first, from the villages of Mapungubwe, caves of the Khoisan, architectural designs of the East and West African mosques art comes first. It’s a way of life that reunites the youth and the older generation in harmony, art comes first from the heart, the central possession of being. The Art1st Experience celebrates just that, the heart of art through multidisciplinary art forms, Film, Body Art, Fashion Design, Creative Writing,Music (Singing,Dj'ing,Composing,Song Writing,Engineering and Production) Pre Historic African and Global Art, Magazine Creations (publishing), Goods Designing, Visual and Fine Arts, Graffiti, Food Market (wine, beer brewing and whiskey mixing), Theatrics Productions, Skateboard and BMX designing, along with Sneaker Exhibition and Kart Design and Industrialization art, as said Art’1st.
MISSION
To create and promote a dynamic front in the celebration of art and it’s roots. We thrive on the achievement and uniqueness of each identity in art. Its creative feature, optimistic outlook ,relentless spirit and endeavor for constant change, constant creative change. That’s our mission to emphasize change not only in art but in youth and all that they surrounded with in light of positivity.
Vision
The vision stands promise to the Art1st Experience philosophy – positivity leads to growth- and with growth of the Art1st it is growth of the youth, mentally and artistically. To see young artists prosper through Art1st and the immense growth attract bigger avenues and channels to broadening the vision and strengthening the mission.
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION
The problem identified has to do with a lack of youth development in most cases and the neglegtion of raw artistic talent and uninformed bearers of the future. We’re on a constant mission to build the bridge that unites all of the identified problems and merges talent with development and a life skills criteria aimed at ensuring recreational activities and a secure development plan pave the way to a creative national future. Most artists don’t have a platform to showcase their works and an avenue to help them achieve that would be a start to a dynamic history.
SOLUTION
We aren’t just a form of exposure for artist’s talent to the world but we exposing them to a world filled with talent. We aspire for growth and growth comes with challenges which need solutions, solutions are offered by a support system of ‘’like-minds’’- creating a community of artists to help enhance each other’s creativity towards everyday issues, instead of trouble makers, we have problem-solvers on every basis and ground of life-as said by Pablo Picasso ‘’The creative adult is the child who survived’’.
FURTHER CONVENIENCE
With all the huge international creative seminars we have in South Africa none of which are affiliated with any art/creative movement in Gauteng province and with the corporate and environmental world relying on creativity to survive in their fields,respectively. Art1st Experience comes as a breath of fresh air to a mentally clogged socio environmental system.
TARGET MARKET
Our target market is Gauteng’s creative community from townships to creative schools in Johannesburg metropolitan. We aim to quench the desires of artists for a creator’s union in and around the province with an updated calendar year leading up to the annual event date for Art1st Experience where the art community can look forward to a finale where art comes first and a solid network base.
