I deliver a car at 09:00 in the morning and there was no one to accept the vehicle, was asked to drop the key, then they contact me that I damaged the carI sent them a video with the car not damaged, they never contacted me since, but I still have to pay for damages that I don't know of according to the ratings on Google, this is not a place to rent a car.AVIS KATHU IS BAD.
On Monday the 13 Sep 21 I dropped off a car at AVIS Kathu and the fuel Guage indicated that the car was still full. On that basis I did not need to full up the car as the fuel Guage indicated that it was full. Low and behold AVIS charged me for refueling the car, on what basis if not the fuel guage? The cluster fuel Guage picture attached clearly shows that the car was full. How On earth does AVIS charge me for a car that I delivered with a full tank according to the Guage. I spoke to a very rude and unprofessional customer service consultant at AVIS Kathu by the name of Maryann Kotze. She basically told me that whether I like it or not, I am going to pay for the refueling charge. My advise is there are a lot of other car rental companies please stay away from AVIS they have a tendency to bully customers as they did with me via email where they told me the bill stays with logical explanation whatsoever. I pray that you don't have to deal with a Maryann Kotze from AVIS Kathu.
I tried returning a car today at 8 am but there was no one at the office. I called the after hours number that is posted on the door and they couldn't get a hold of the person in charge either. Pathetic.
Really unprofessional client service, we made payment online and was not informed that credit card holder should be one collecting vehicle, who in fist place is not a field technician thus we as office make payment for our guys. I called the lady said that it is not a problem our guy can just come with all the documents and he can collect vehicle, when he arrived he was told that he cannot collect and when I the called and asked why this is after I had spoken to someone at Avis they said that is how it works and we will not be refunded. Miss communication from their side as I did call to confirm if all was ok but I will never direct clients to Avis ever again or make use of their services.
Office is always closed when I am collecting the vehicle. The vehicle booked is also never at the premises.
After reading some comments and reviews here it has come to my attention that the white lady in the name of Marian Coertze is the racist who is only kind to her white mensfolk as Kathu and Kuruan is well known to be a fully-fledged lily white apatheid offsprings with stinking attitude towards black customers.The company must take care of those rotten elements and have them fired
Kathu Avis is just an excuse for a car hireI can't believe I was scheduled to come get a car today 27/07/2021 and it was only brought to my attention that there wasn't any car available... The lady called me around 12 o'clock in the afternoon and I had to hike from Kuruman to Kathu, nobody bothered to re-schedule when they realized there was no car. ththere
The worst experience ever! Tshwaro and Mary please up your game guys! I'm greatly disappointed by your service. Firstly I was given a car that has faulty wheel alignment and secondly I was asked to return a car on the 24th of September which was a public holiday, no one bothered to change the arrangement, instead I drove there to return the car and the office was closed. And they tell me I could've dropped the car and throw the key underneath their office door!
It was fine they I have received a warm welcome they're gud when coming working with a human being
I've been awaiting my deposit for more than two months now... They make promises to wire it through everytime i call them but never fulfill their promises
