Not really appreciated anymore, agents will make you drive all the way to collect only to find out there's still fees that are outstanding

Extremely disgusted with the service received at this branch! My husband arrived at the rental office today, with his identification documents, and an electronic copy of his passport as we were advised to NOT travel with our passports. The supervisor who assisted my husband was extremely rude, passive aggressive and unprofessional!!!! I will most certainly NOT be using Avis/ Budget Lanseria again.
Got a Toyota Starlet and it had break problems. they kept screaming through the first day and I was in the Northwes region. had to drive back and ask the guys at OR Tambo to change it the following morning. sad and wasted my time
Unfriendly staff. I will never hire from there again. Treated us like we weren't paying for the car.
Customer service is average and some of the staff are friendly and professional. I rent here frequently and the queue is often too long and there is no dedicated Avis Preferred queue. Avis made a mistake with my booking date and were out of vehicles on two separate days which delayed me significantly. This needs to be improved.
New expanded branch. Great staff and excellent service. Forgot my keys in a car, they brought them to the plane. Legendary service!
Avis Lanseria branch is the best with customer care skills. I had previously complained about the rude attitude I received from Dollar Thrifty front desk agents and vowed never to use Dollar Thrifty Lanseria again. I'm happy to say I will be loyal Avis Lanseria whenever I fly to Lanseria.
Before arriving in Lanseria I contacted both Avis and South African airways to make sure that I could rent a car using the air miles I had build up without any problems. I used airmiles so that I didn't need a credit card to rent the car because South African banks don't allow students to have credit cards. So after spending the non refundable airmiles I went to AVIS Lanseria and gave them my reference number. They then took the deposit off my debit card and only then told me I couldn't rent a car with a debit card, despite being told numerous times over the phone that I could. They then turned me away telling me that my deposit would be returned. After a week however my deposit wasn't returned and I haven't been able to get back my air miles. I then proceeded to make 25 calls over 5 days to get back my deposit, being told each time they were contacting the bank and would call me back at the end of the day which they didn't. Only on the 5th day did they tell me that the deposit hadn't been logged on their system and so they had no record of taking it and thus couldn't return it to me. Eventually I managed to contact someone who seemed to know what was going on and they returned my money... After a week and a half, and I still have no air miles. This is the worst customer care experience I have ever encountered and I highly encourage everyone to avoid this branch. Try Europecar or Tempest across the road.
Nothing like been given a vehicle with a flat tyre and when I mentioned it Inwas told "Nothing wrong just put pressure at the garage on the way out". And then I find out there was a bolt, not even a nail, a BOLT in the tyre. It cost me R150 to repair the tyre just 2 min in to my car hire.
