Unfortunately have been emailing back and forth with this company for charging me extra with no explanation given almost a year ago. I finally had my bank retrieve the amount charged in the fall of 2021 and Avis is now threatening to sue me for the charge back. I have given them proof of invoices showing that there is an extra charge on my bank statements. They have been harassing me for months now with no true explanation of the extra charges. Rent somewhere else.

Had a great Christmas and new year using their minibus

Swapped a car! Thought all was fine but they don't stick to what they tell you! Be careful!

Well organised and friendly service

This is a very dishonest Avis location. I was told to be careful in South Africa because they will charge you for false repairs. I returned my car rental here and immediately asked for them to close out my invoice. They told me that their computer was "down"  so I had the employee there walk around the car and give me a receipt stating the car was returned in good condition. A month later the rental charge showed up on my credit card and was almost $200 more than quoted because of "damage"  I had held on to the receipt and sent it to them to dispute the charge and they still insisted on charging me even though I had proof that the car was returned in good condition.I did everything I could to keep from getting ripped off  at this location .
