The prices are awesome, the produce is very fresh and very, very affordable. There is a lot of variety. The meat is super fresh and good grade. Again, the prices are unbelievable. If you can, you should make a turn here.
Perfect for spices fruits veggies fish and meat products
What a big store! Everything under one roof - amazing! Meat, prayer goods, veggies, fish, chicken...literally everything!
We purchased the Durban Spicy sausages and there were inedible white things in them. I am not sure if they were thick pieces of fat there were too thick and tough to actually eat. It was disgusting and actually made us feel sick! Do better Nagiahs! You had a great thing going for you. Standard has clearly dropped
Quite expensive compare to surrounding local spice shops. Not the best quality in spices for extreme prices. Bulk manufacture of sweet meats leave much to be desired because it all tastes the same and made with poor quality ghee. Spicy lamb sausages and burgers are not great either. Knowledge of staff in seafood really poor in respect of their department.
I bought half a lamb and the guys who cuts and weighs gave me the most amazing service ever, I ended up wanting to see more and bought lots of herbs and amazing Indian spices. I have no complaints. Big up to the lady in the spice mixing area, she gave us extra service and she was so patient in teaching us more about the Indian spices. I'm happy. I'm definitely coming back the following week
The shop itself has a bad odour. The vegetables, pickles and the Ferrero cupcakes are very fresh and tasty. Steer clear of the Nagiah's soya samoosas. They are terrible and taste stale. Probably the worst I've ever had. Stick to Tommy's soya mince samoosas.
I've been to B Nagiahs, Midrand recently and I'm afraid they seem to have lost the plot. Lots of empty shelves. The vegetable section seemed fine however it smelled like something died in the meat section. Its sad to see the shop in this state. I hope they can do something to sort it out. They also never answer their phone to check stock of items before you visit.
I spent over R1000 on your sausages on new years eve and they taste terrible. We got there early on new years eve we were out of there before 9:30 try to beat the crowds your "award winning" Tikka sausages taste like it's filled with paste the "mutton sausage" tastes like its been watered down and that's definately not chicken or mutton in those sausages Never ever again will I come to your midrand store and I came there specially for the sausages cos I love the DurbanNagiahs sausage what a waste of petrol time and money I will be sure to tell everyone of your inedible tasting sausages. Check your tils we paid by card Thaver. Really so disappointed seriously wasted so much of my hard earned money
This is one of the best butchery that one can get all different kinds of meat but it's mostly loved and visited by Indians
