What an awesome selection of flavors and icing and the most delicious cake! Marli has a wonderful wedding cake tasting box that has made my wedding preparations that much sweeter.
We reached out to Mareli regarding our wedding cake and a few crazy ideas we had and CMH turned it into the perfect creation. CMH were amazing from day 1, they made planning our wedding from another country feel so easy. We went with a 2 tier cake, red velvet and carrot and both the look and flavour blew us away! Our guests are still talking about how it was the best tasting wedding cake they have ever had. So many times you find cakes that look amazing but end up dry- this was not that. CMH nailed both style and substance, it was truly perfect! We will recommend CMH to everyone we know for all cakes. Looking forward to being able to have another delicious cake from you!
My first time ordering a birthday cake from Cake Me Happy: decadent chocolate with salted caramel filling. The absolutely most delicious & beautiful looking cake!
They got the cake flavour wrong for our Molenvliet wedding. We ordered zesty lemon with mixed berry cream cheese filling which we had printed on beautiful menus and got our families excited about but instead we got a mix of chocolate & vanilla They have said they didn’t get a timely response from our planner last week so they reviewed their emails and got us confused with another bride by the same first name. However we ordered our cake & flavour and paid for it over 6 months ago and they have our direct email too. We have been kindly offered a voucher for a cake in future which we politely declined. The cake was beautiful which was the main thing, however based on our experience they were the only supplier at our wedding we could not personally recommend.
Ordered the Succulent Cake for my husband’s birthday and it was a hit! All the guests were blown away by the construction and when it came to eating, it had incredible texture and taste. Highly recommend
Mareli and the team did an amazing job with our wedding cake, it was more than what we expected. It tasted delicious. We had no hassles or complications, it was truly a breeze organizing our wedding cake. Thank you team!!
Hands down the best cake house in Cape Town. I go to Cake Me Happy for ALL my special celebrations and they never disappoint. The cakes always come out way better than you imagined and they taste amazing. Great, professional and quick response time. CakeMeHapppy is our family go-to place.
What an incredible experience it was to have my wedding cake made by Cake Me Happy! I couldn't recommended anyone more. She got my vision from just a few mood boards, went out of her way with my wedding cake topper and the cherry on the top was creating a sugar free top tier for me so, as a diabetic, I could still enjoy it with my guests on my wedding day. We went with a simple vanilla and chocolate tiered cake and it was beyond incredible; so flavourful with zesty fruit centre compote - a fluffy cake that stayed moist four days after our day!
Cake Me Happy made the most exquisite wedding cake for us and the guests raved about it for weeks after our wedding. There was absolutely nothing left of it the next day. I'd highly recommend them for any celebration cake.
What an amazing job these guys did with my wedding cake. The cake looked amazing and looked exactly as it is on their website But most importantly it tasted very good. Our guests were asking "who made your cake it taste good and look good" and yes my cake looked like a pinterest dreamy elegant wedding cake like I dreamt of. It is beautiful and freshing to do business with people who take pride and people who are passionate about their craft. Once again thank you so much guys for your amazing job we are so delighted.
