Balboa Park Luxury Apartment

Apartment 147 on block 5 is a no no go place, just a horror. The owner Sibusiso scammed us and he is refusing to refund me back my money. The Apartment is high health risk, it was not cleaned or sanitised. The bugs where all the bedroom, previous client not taken out of the room, only one old clean towel, broken toilet basin tap. When i informed the owner about it, he shouted at me and told to leave and we did that. Now he is refusing to refund me back my money.

Parking is very poor here and was not well thought out. Estate manager takes a week and much prodding to respond to basic issues. Security tell pedestrian residents to walk under the boom when pedestrian gate is down. When someone steals your marked parking bay, security guard's response is "there's nothing I can do". A real shame, this complex used to be run a lot better.

Just to clarify, my rating is zero stars. Here goes: 1. A person parks in my bay. I call security. He tells me he will find the person. No clamping, no warning, no fines, i.e. no repercussions for bad behaviour. Security and the estate manager informed me that "he said sorry". Because "sorry" prevents this behaviour from recurring right? 2. A person parks like he bought his drivers license in the bay next to me. So at 05h30, I can't get into my car to get to work. Formal complaint sent and I was told it will be "investigated". I eagerly await the findings of this investigation. 3. Pedestrians using the boomed vehicle entrance. So much fun. 4. The poor kids have to do their gym class in the middle of the parking lot. So safe. 5. The access system was recently changed to a biometric system. I've redone my fingerprint registration three times over now and it fails to register my prints. How convenient. Basically, this complex is designed poorly and the estate management - for lack of a better word - sucks. I wouldn't recommend investing nor renting in this establishment.

Excellent finishes throughout, pre-installed fibre connection that only needs to be activated. Safe, convenient. Loses one star for allowing businesses to operate from units within the complex.

I am still inlove with this place. I wanted to buy here but things didn't go my way. I can't say much because I don't know if the management is good or not.
