I am horribly disappointed in Barrets. I recommended them to my mother to use as I received their name from Dros Tennis Academy in PTA, I now very very very much regret recommending them and the process has been torturous x 1000. It basically comes down to myself, i gave a bad referral. Their guys arrive at 10am on the job no earlier, take TWO 1 hour breaks through the day never missing one, and leave at 2:30. That means max 2 and a half hours of work per day, and even in that time a lot is spent sitting around under the trees. I have photo's to prove. They initially said a court could take up to 8 weeks. We are standing on 3 months later and the tennis court is faaaaaaaaaar from finished. Still have another 3 layers to go before the last colour layer comes in. Fences not up either. I have NEVER seen labor like this. Insane! They never have 'stock' and therefore sit around 'waiting' for it to come. Sometimes its the whole day long.... and then leave. I hear that the court is great when it is done, but one needs patience..... Really! I get that, I even get 2 and a half months with rain delays. But this is ridiculous! And now the rainy season really starts... oh boy! Until now, we have not had rain. What now??? We have 3 other families who would like tennis courts at their homes and there is NO way that I will recommend Barret's. It's just sad. So much money, and then you need to be 'happy' with the very very extended and unnecessary time it takes to build a court. Regardless of the quality. I would rather say that they need to warn people that a tennis court will take at least 5 months. Then they cannot be disappointed with what they receive. Understaffed - over-committed. Regardless of the final product, this is bad service, and not worth the trouble.
