Very nice place to hang out although small but safe and clean I was attracted by the toilet the male urinal has a flash
Awesome showcase of ethnic arts and crafts. From Sbu's amazing wax figures at the Lungelo Wax Museum to Everado's ethnic paintings and lunch / dinner at the Craft Harbour Views restaurant under the new owner, Zinhle's capable supervision. Well worth a visit to support these amazing artists and entrepreneurs. Craft Harbour Views have live music on Sunday's and Zinhle is planning on showcasing local arts, cultures and music during the week with evening sessions.
It was quite a nice place to visit , because of different types of wrecked ships you would be interested in wanting to learn more about them plus the view is great , seeing multi boat each of their kind
If you like Camden in London you will like this place. You can see and meet young ambitious artist at work. If you have luck you can purchase something unic will alway remind you to your Durban trip. ..
Had great time in a launching book; Meditations from the gutter by Molaodi WA Sekake ... Very nice centre to host best events around Durban n affordable!!!
The building management is not doing the best job to maintain this facility. Roofing is falling apart, seating area is falling apart. Poor service at the bar whilst one waits for the shows to start. Overall this place is now plain disappointing.
Place is awesome, beautiful view! Needs to be marketed more I love it! I can imagine at night the views get even better.
I went with friends during an evening show and it was nice. Initially difficult to locate the entrance using Google map but we figured it out. Very nice ambience. The staff at the ticketing area en the bar were kind and helpful. I liked the deck area.
Trendy, friendly, fun atmosphere, with great music, and good food. Watch up and coming local artists perform live. The Jazz Sundowners gave an absolutely amazing performance!! If they are playing near you, go see them!!
Its always a blast being at The Bat Centre, had the opportunity to stream two live events there at the Sipho Gumede Hall. Such an awesome atmosphere. My only concern is that i wish they could consider doing regular maintaining and keep the place alive and make it the go to place for even international artists. such an awesome place to go to for Jazz sessions, poetry, gospel, hip hop and many other arts and talent shows, i definitely recommend this if you love live music, they also have food on sale in the premises so it is perfect even for dates and its close to the harbour. The beauty is seen during the late hours when the light hits the water and you get different reflections, definitely a place to check out.
