Bayside is the most kid friendly shopping center in the area. It has a cinema, kids area with a variety of electric rides. The Spur has a large double volume jungle gym. The shops' corridors/passages are wide, light, and clean. Ample covered parking and they even have a 5 a side football.
World class shopping experience, ultra clean mall, friendly staff but didn't see any security which is concerning. Other than that, well worth a visit.
The Value shop is always giving me grief in one way or another. Last time they stopped me from leaving because the lady at the till didn't ring up my plastic bag. It took almost 5 mins to sort out something so simple..
Went into the mall to get to a dischem, its been moved so no dischem at this mall anymore. One of the security guards told me theres a dischem across the road at Tableview Mall. Never got a chance to go check it out. Checkers had some nice calamari at their hot foods section though.
This mall is very conveniently located, has all necessary shops for everyday items that you need, my main stops are usually Checkers, Computer Mania and the gadget shop. However they have lots of other stores and even a Sterkinekor Cinema which is awesome! Another awesome factor, if you need to pop in quickly, is that the first hour of parking in their undercover parking is free too! Lekker! 5 stars
The mall is emptying very quickly as tenants are leaving. It's not worth paying for parking. I hope that they recover after the planned renovation. But having one anchor store - Checkers - is not enough.
This is literally at my doorstep, so yup its my to go shop,i know alot of the people working there doesn't matter who you are from cleaners,securities,people working in the shops.Cost you nothing to be friendly and also buying the cashiers by Checkers chocolates or just having a nice conversations with them. So yes I love Bayside Mall
Parking fees are high. Only went for standard bank. Which had pathetic customer service! We were there for a long long time. No prestige bankers at this branch and we were still at the bank after closing hours and the issues were not resolved, we were promised follow-up email or call which never happened! Worst bank ever.
They really need to improve their security in this mall. I was robbed of R1000 by a woman and a guy. The securities just stand around having conversations. This mall is not a pleasure to shop at anymore as most of the stores has closed down. Some shops also only take cash during loadshedding. They should really improve the shopping experience.
Love shopping at Bayside. It's not huge, has mostly all the shops I need. Never over full which suits me.
