It's one of the worst stores in benoni. I would not recommend it to anyone, especially beginners. When it comes to fish, they provide the worst and most incorrect advice. They lie to customers in order to sell there products. Employees hardly know anything about fish and make up things as they go. Please don't support them. There fish are kept in bad conditions and are kept in small and not maintained tanks especially there poor betta fish. Some of the fish are even dead in the tank and just floating around. Please don't visit this shop at all.

Great place for reef aquarium fish and corals. They have a lot of knowledge to share, especially for beginners. They lead you step by step to set up your own reef tank.
If you are looking for high quality live stock speak to Shireen or Cliff both extremely knowledgeable and helpful and the only fish store I trust, after 5 years purchasing here I can honestly say there is no other aquatics store with such healthy stock I've never had any diseased or damaged fish from their store and if they don't have it in stock or haven't heard of it they go out of their way to source rare or unique species at a reasonable price
After bad experiences at Wazeers and other potshops I stumbled upon these guys, I'm very impressed, Good, strong, healthy stock with a large variety at fairly reasonable prices, I've bought 2 big loads of fish there now and have not lost one.
I have visited many pet shops before however I must say Benoni Aquarium & Pets has the best sea tank on the east rand I will even go so far to say in Johannesburg. A must see for everyone. The photos on Google is 3 years old and does not showcase how good its is now. All there fish is very healthy and in great condition. Please owner add a new photo of your big tank
Owner is very knowledgeable. Store has a wide variety of everything u need for your fish.
They have a many different kinds of fish at reasonable prices and very Nice displays, Good service and advice from the staff too.
Excellent service. Will definitely go back.
