A year ago I visited your venue and it amazed me... A real gem of the South of Jhb, neatly kept gardens, beautiful and green.... Very tranquil environment... Very Nice Venue for any Wedding or other event. I absolutely loved the setting and the venue and hall was beautiful...I recommend the venue for a getaway wedding, safe parking close to the offramp..
Attended a lovely family wedding function... gardens pools & fountains were immaculately neatly kept, staff very friendly & courteous natured. The venue was absolutely clean n kept very beautiful... both the hall & garden tea party area were real superb & an awesome family get together place of so much of fun, happiness & pure wedding bells joy... I had a bad experience attending a family member's wedding. We were not allowed in at the gate including the groomsmen who were not allowed inside the venue due to capacity. We pleaded for them to at least allow the groomsmen inside for photos etc. and other guests will leave. The family offered to pay for the extra that were not allowed in, but the staff or management refused. One even screamed "get these people out of here" as if the people are dogs. The guests had to even make the decision for everyone to move back out on the street and start counting people one by one, and in the end everyone was seated and our children had to remain outside of the hall. Was it necessary for all that drama? Is it necessary to count a 1 year old child as a "guest"? To spoil such a beautiful day for the couple . As a business, treat people with respect and try to be considerate.
On Saturday the 10th of December, I had the honour of cooking at a friend's wedding. Benvenuti function facility was the chosen venue. To say that this venue ticks every box, would be an understatement. The staff were incredibly helpful and highly skilled. The venue itself was in impeccable condition and the management most helpful. Big thank you to Angie, Mandy, Vic and Jerry who assisted me in organising my gear and going over and above the call of duty. Highly recommended.
Very nice place for intimate Events. I was there attending a wedding. For your Weddings in 2021 I recommend Benvenuti!
Attended a wedding over there in the 26 March 2021.The place is amazing, like a little hidden paradise.The wedding was well coordinated and everything went well.The is ample space to adhere to Covid regulations.
If you reach the confusing entrance and not clearly mark which entrance to use, it may create an impression of not a good venue. But that is not the case. The venue offer great food for a wedding venue. The staff is friendly and efficient. The swimming pool is massive and there are nice areas to take pictures. Lovely outdoor setting for a wedding. It is not a 5 star wedding and function venue, but is great for the area.
The best place to have your wedding. Lovely staff, the best services rendered. The only thing confusing if their refund policy.
I do not recommend Benvenuti. I attended a wedding at Benvenuti as a guest. It was a beautiful day however the wedding ended in commotion when we started helping the bridal family pack up the food and alcohol they bought to the venue for the wedding guests. The Bride and Grooms family addressed managers of stealing that took place during the evening, and the barmen that were drinking, before leaving the venue of the wedding night. This caused the commotion however the managers did not take responsibility for their staff. It was sad to see my friends wedding day end this way, for services that they paid for and the items stolen from them
