Style can derive from sources as varied as the current and past work of artists and makers, the ancient decorative works and decoration of the earliest peoples, global and historical decor trends derived from source, or reinterpreted by local artisans and craftsmen.
We are dedicated to sourcing and showcasing decorative objects, artworks, furniture and jewellry which appeals to OUR sense of style. It may not be all to your taste; no-one can claim a monopoly on what truly represents style.
But above all, we are eclectic and open in our brief, and welcome input and fresh ideas and products, either alluding to the themes on this site, or completely divergent from them – if you are an artist, designer or maker looking to showcase and market your vision, we would be happy to engage with you.

BHB Sourcing is a Durban-based South African company committed to facilitating the exposure of the work of artists, designers and other creative groups to the public by means of exposure on the internet. We started by assisting an importer of mainly Art Deco and Indian Colonial furniture and decorative objects to find markets for their products. This is an ongoing project. We are now expanding to embrace the work of artists, jewellery makers and other artisans and makers. Our emphasis is very much on local and indigenous products, but not exclusively so.
We source furniture, original artworks, salvaged architectural pieces,decorative items and hand-made jewelry and offer these products for sale on our website. We offer exposure to artists and makers, allowing the public not only to purchase existing work, but also to commission pieces directly from them. We also offer a “finding service”, relevant to the categories and offerings presented on the site. If you would like something similar to our current products, but don’t see exactly what you want, or we are out of stock, then just ask! We may be able to source it for you.
