Setting is beautiful Sunset it AMAZiNG Service is eish , you expect faster service in that price. the waiter was friendly but we waited alooot for the wine and we waited aloot for both bottles , so we wached the sunset without drinks, it came at the end, and eat some of our food without wine also . The starters were really nice, *** I really don’t recommend the tahini seared tuna. I am neutral about the seafoodplatter .. nothing special but very expensive
I had great expectations for this place, but it didn't deliver on this occasion. I would say that the location is great, assuming the weather is good, if not there is no view to appreciate. Staff are friendly and competent, however, our food did take a fairly long time to be served, When the food did eventually arrive, it was ok, unfortunately nothing special. Maybe our expectations were too high, having eaten at Babel and Le Coin, etc. As an example, the grilled calamari was no better than Ocean Basket at the V&A. Chicken salad was pretty dry and just average. Anyway, try for yourself and see what you think.
Beautiful location with a sea view and superb food. We went to Bilboa since it was recommened to us by locals and it did not disappoint. The asparagus hummus was extremely delicious and something I have never had somewhere else. The filet was simply amazing. Service was good, too. All in all we have had an awesome night. In fact we enjoyed the food so much that we came back a couple of days later. 5/5!
Had a lovely experience, the food was amazing, the restaurant is cosy and the waiters and manager are attentive and friendly. The pudding is definitely the best one i have had.
The space is contemporary and chic, overlooking the bustling Camp Bay strip with stunning views of the beach, where the sea breeze fill you with that fresh ocean fragrance. The menu boasts Mediterranean seafood-inspired vibe with some interesting twists. We opted to visit for lunch, celebrating a milestone in our business, and the weather was a picture perfect for such a venue. We were offered a prime table, luckily we did not book as the other guests had finished early, to we got front and centre. Views for days! We jumped straight in with a with a glass of bubbly ad some oysters, ‘Au Naturel’, opulent, fresh, and delish. We then had a couple for starters, even though the main courses looked fabulous, we prefer lots of small plates. The Grilled Baby Squid with Roasted Red Pepper Purée, Olives & Basil was absolute delicious, followed by the Black Mussels with Shallots, Garlic, Harissa, White Wine & Crème, also mouth-wateringly good. These afternoon was beautiful, with a cracker dink-list to woe even the fussiest of connoisseurs. I think the cocktails deserve a special mention too, and the service, creating a special memory for our milestone celebration. Ciao ~SB Parking: Secure Parking at a small amount behind building.
Excellent views of the ocean and awesome sea breeze blowing through. Super clean and the food is brilliant - bursting with flavour and complimented by the incredible freshness! This is not a cheap place but it is worth it! Have a budget of about R350 per person to make it worth your while. This is my official stop over everytime I am in Cape Town. Staff are fast, really friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is very pleasant... I will be back soon!
I was there for practically the whole day it was a cold day but they kept us all warm. Their service was exceptional, the food was amazing too. Ocean view seating Food: 5/5
Had an incredible day here. Definitely now a favorite place for me. I was asked to leave because my seat was booked for the evening but I really enjoyed this place. Booking is essential if you wish to spend a lot of time here. Wheelchair accessibility: There's no wheelchair access. To my knowledge, you have to climb a flight of stairs to get to the restaurant
Stumbled upon this place walking down Camps Bay and decided to walk in cos of the pretty umbrellas. Ordered some light snacks of the mussels, cauliflower and broccolini and everything tasted wonderful. View from the restaurant of the beach was beautiful as well. Had a wonderful afternoon.
We had the seafood feast which is R1950 platter for 2. We also had oysters, mussels in a curry sauce and fried calamari which were all delectable. The service was great too, we arrived 3 minutes before the closing of their kitchen and they still accommodate us kindly and patiently. We were not rushed to finish at all.Recommended dishesSeafood Feast
