Electronic Bingo is taking South Africa by storm and has now arrived in Jeffreys Bay.
Fountains Mall in Jeffrey’s Bay will become the latest venue in the Eastern Cape to have a Bingo Royale entertainment gaming venue
“Bingo Royale provides over 18s up-market entertainment, including a Bingo Royale Café, feature bar and modern bingo terminals. The venue will also feature regular live entertainment on a permanent stage in the venue,” says Yolande Manuel, director of BOSS Gaming Eastern Cape.
Visitors to Bingo Royale Jeffrey’s Bay have a visible wow experience the first time they pass through security and enter the premises just like the other Bingo Royale venues in the Eastern Cape where they are greeted by a giant chandelier and a chance to win a brand new car
The colours of the lights in the chandelier can be changed to match the mood or occasion of the day.
Electronic-based bingo machines will be used at Bingo Royale Jeffreys Bay, allowing visitors to play whenever the bingo hall is open, opposed to specific time slots in more traditional Bingo operations.
There are over 150 electronic-based bingo machines that visitors can play on says Bingo Royale Jeffrey’s Bay general manager Schreuder Venter.
“One of the reasons we chose Fountains Mall as the perfect spot to open up in Jeffreys Bay is the easy and convenient access to parking facilities, the gaming venue that helps create a ‘one stop’ destination for food, gaming and live entertainment” says Venter.
New security lighting has been installed to flood the parking area and passage to the Bingo Royale.
The area will be patrolled by Bingo Royale’s own security guards who will escort visitors to and from their vehicles during the evening.
Entrance to the gambling area carries an over 18 age restriction but the Bingo Royale Café with its separate entrance is accessible to all ages.

Handy little coffe shop/restaurant. Situated a in a nice quiet corner. Prices are reasonable and food was great. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It also offers pensioners discounts, which appear to be very popular.
Beautiful and good service. Discount on breakfast for pensioners up till 12 o'clock.
Horrible service. Terribly slow, and it is not because the food is being prepared fresh, because when it finally reaches the table it is cold. Staff is very unfriendly and unprofessional. In addition, I saw one of the kitchen staff put their bare hands and fiddle with the food that was ready to go to a table. Everyone and everything seems to move in slow motion.
Takes the cake for worst food service in SA at their restuarant/coffee shop. Hilariously bad service! I recommend going drunk or stoned to observe this absolute train wreck. They will lure you in with cheap prices. Again, come drunk.
Not once but at least twice during our regular visits, have we been treated like dirt at the restaurant.. Either they can't do this or that, or they don't have the calamari despite it being on the filthy plastic covered copy of the menu Most recently the meal arrived ages later and the steak... If one can call it that.. Was ice cold but the chips were hot.. When we asked to have it warmed the look we got from the waiter made it clear they don't need us there.. Not first time... I asked for Tabasco.. Dont have. Vinegar, they have... 15mibs later I'm. Told they don't have vinegar. And people rate this as excellent.. Crazy... I've witnessed people asking about menu items and then hear them telling the waiter "that's pathetic".... But seriously, the place had been ok but now the attitude is stuff you, we don't need you here... But that's great, we have better things to do when there anyway. Never again dear waitress... Your cheek is the downfall of someone's business.
The best pensioners breakfast in town at the best price...stunning...just ad a small portion of chips and it is more than sufficient even for a big man like me...great...highly recommended.
Dissapointment is an understatement. We first got there and waited for a little while before they came to help us then we ordered and a few seconds after I went to her and asked if they started making yet because i want to ask something then she said no but they don't have veggies to put with the food and she did not mention it when I ordered so if I didn't go to her I would have gotten the food without and paid for it. Apparently according to a friend after, it's been weeks that they didn't have veg, even if Pick n Pay is a few meters away. So basically they cutting costs with not giving customers veggies and customers still pay the full price. This was my first time there and I will never go again. Not only is there service slow and they chat to much to each other to concentrate, they gave me the wrong drink order and according to a friend that I spoke to after I was there, they are not accommodating and she had been there when it was the pasta special night and they didn't even have the correct pasta. I mean come on, you know it's special night. If I knew all this before hand. I would never have put my food through that door.
They use to have excellent service but off late the service has really gone down and I visit every day almost even as a regular the staff is not professional at all and they have no problem taking out their teeth while on duty ... doesn't being neat and tidy and professional apply to jobs any more
Great fun. Would recommend a roulette table to add something extra
