Bloem Plaza Truck Stop

Nice place to park n refuel with hot water showers for drivers. Mostly a place for truck drivers. As drivers we asking for a canteen or a restaurant that serves African food. Sometimes we get here tired ready to sleep n we need food.

Great diesel prices. R2 per L better than anyone on the N1

Cheapest Diesel in Bloem, Their litre right now is R24.75 and in the other petrol filling stations you getting a litre at R26.99…. So If I were you I would go there and fill up

Very dirty and dusty with poor fencing So you don't feel safe when sleeping there And the showers are in a horrible state

If you want to buy more affordable 50ppm diesel, this is the place, about R 2.00 less expensive at the pump that elsewhere in fact, 24/7/365. But that is it, more affordable fuel, no nice rest area or tuckshop, bare minimums. My rating is on the cost of fuel. Friendly staff though. Keep in mind many trucks refuel here, so you may have to wait a bit as there are only 4 pumps that I am aware of and trucks can take ages to fill up.

Good place to fill up your vehicle and stretch your legs. Bathrooms are clean and petrol attendants and staff at the shop and Wimpie are very friendly and helpfull

What can you say, this fantastic little diesel depot is probably one of the cheapest outlet for those traveling from Jhb - Cpt on the NI Highway. Facilities may not be 5 Star. What they loose in looks they make-up in price and especially service and the staff are fantastic. A must to stop to refill your tank with diesel.
