I recently had a fantastic weekend at the gorgeous Chandos on Lake holiday home, booked through Blouberg Holiday Rentals. Amazing views of the lagoon, Table Mountain overhead and fully equipped self-catering accommodation. Cant wait to come again and look forward to more experiences with Blouberg Holiday Rentals!
This must be the worst rental agency to deal with. I rented the nicest apartment for a holiday but the service we got from Blouberg rentals was terrible. They do not communicate changes to clients nor do they even know how the apartment's prepaid water works and how to reload. We had to call them every time , no communications. But they quick to ask for more money but no clarity. Please never use them
We stayed in Eden On The Bay 108. What a amazing experience. The relaxed environment and beautiful surroundings made our stay even more amazing. The apartment is modern, spacious and clean, a home away from home. Walking distance from the shops and beach. Waking up to most amazing view of Tafelberg and ending our day with a walk on the beach and the beautiful sunset. A stay that we will not forget. We will be happy to return. Thank you to the Blouberg Holiday Rental Team for making our stay a memorable one.
Booked 10 days at Dolphin Ridge B11, what an absolute disaster. The apartment is very poorly appointed with the basics missing, salt and pepper cellars, towels, etc. Furniture is broken and material covers torn. A check of the inventory showed most items missing, knives, forks, spoons, plates, etc. The apartment was not cleaned before our arrival, a glass window had broken and the entire living area of the apartment was covered in shards of glass. In site of several visits to the offices of Blaouberg Holiday rentals, no effort on behalf of Blouberg Holiday Rentals to resolve the issues we had with the apartment. I recommend neither Blouberg Holiday Rentals nor Dolphin Ridge B11. Book at you own risk!!!
We booked a beautiful unit overlooking the water only to find on arrival the building was being painted and there was scaffolding right across the view. We were offered compensation of SAR100 a night between six of us and were put in a small 3 bedroom apartment which was nowhere near adequate. 3 months and numerous emails later we are still waiting for the full compensation. Sadly we have not found them at all reasonable to deal with. Considering that they ruined our holiday we would have expected more!
What can I say..... But super terrible experience. Booked a 2 week holiday at Dolphin beach H108 which cost us a large amount of money which on arrival the place was filthy dirty, The cutlery was dusty and the unit sub standard for what we paid for. We had to pay an additional R600 for additional cleaning which any cleaning done was completely pathetic. The front door lock was brocken and we had to get our own keys cut in order for us to lock the room to leave. No linnen or towels were changed. And when you get hold of blouberg holiday rentals nothing gets done about it. I would highly NOT recommend this company for your holiday bookings.
Stayed at Eden on bay unit 257 . Had a fantastic holiday . Apartment was as gorgeous as advertised and exceeded expectations to be honest . Friendly helpful staff and my only complaint would be not being told/ aware that the cleaners come once every third day pleasant surprise however being unaware of this i left my valuables unlocked nothing missing for the record , would have liked to know prior . Other than that fantastic staff and a really quality experience while I was in CPT.
We stayed at Neptune Island 301 Accommodation for 10 days. We had to move out of the unit after two days due to horrible state of the unit and very unhelpful service by Blouberg Holiday Rentals. When we informed them that we move out of the unit where it was very smelly, lights haven't been working, bed ceiling came down on us and the WiFi wasn't available after multiple attempts, they did just clean the unit and stole all the stuff we still left in there to collect a bit later. Now they are not answering to E-Mails anymore and always forward us to different people to tell us we are not even egligtable for a partly refund. Horrible encounter with this company and worst service I have ever seen with a holiday company.
My husband stayed at 91 Big Bay Beach Club and the apartment was dirty, I'm not sure who is actually checking on these cleaners but they are doing a sub standard job. Even the blinds were filthy in the apartment. Overall I definitely wouldn't recommend this apartment, it's not worth the money.
We, as permanent residents of La Mer, are disgusted by the quality of short term guests allowed at 12 La Mer Bloubergrant South Africa. After 24 hours we are still exposed to continious rowdiness, foul language, damage to property i.e broken window and slight damage to vehicle as well as overall security of permanent residents. Thanks to efforts to resolve problem by the staff of Blouberg Holiday Rentals. Situations like this have been destabilizing our Complex since this Unit became available for short term rental purposes.
