Bluff Pooch Parlour & Pet Shop

I bought a pair of black moors and a pair of fantails from this shop. They are world class! They always have amazing goldfish, Bettas and cichlids in stock. Be sure to go back a few times though as stock does vary. They also have bunches of fish medicine, food and equipment. It is amazing to still have a pet shop with such an amazing freshwater fish variety on the Bluff. They also have a lot of other pets: birds, bunnies, rats and snakes. In an age where a "pet shop" has largely become a soulless maze of giant dog food bags and toys, I implore people to support this wonderful place, and bring your kids through to see the adorable and amazing creatures. Their staff is also friendly and helpful, they always make you feel welcome.

Not happy with the service i have received today ...phoned in talk the lady that answered the phone i have a shih tzu only want to cut her eyes and bum as they are pretty hairy dogs that what make them so pretty...as on dropping her off and reach my work shop get a phone call from them asking do i want to trim her her replied NO ONLY CUT HER EYES AND BUM ...on collect her they have shave her face and feed and trim hair ...go back later to the lady that i have spoken over the phone with my doggie she ask if she came in for her pamper at 11.30 for eyes and bum i then said yes but they did all that i have ask not to do .....she they answered oh i was on lunch ..the ladies that was cutting her ask me when i fetched her am i happy its pointless in saying no because would they have just stick her hair back not happy there is a reason why i ask for only what i wanted not to do your own thing......

Been going here 3 years now and the excellent service never changes. My favourite pet store . Although thier prices have changed quite a bit I will continue to support them

Owner is very rude, probably just racist. Other staff are very friendly though. Don't bother calling he won't give you any info he'll tell you that you must come into the store to find out

Their service is really good. Make no mistake about that. But hard to get a hold of them to make appointments as they don't bloody answer their phones!

Uncle is always friendly and helpful. Also stays open late which is very convenient for us
