Body Stress Release is for everyone whether sick or healthy; young or old. It offers a safe, gentle yet effective way to help the body release muscle tensions that have become locked into the body as a result of stress overload.
With the person lying down fully clothed, the practitioner carries out a series of tests to locate the exact sites of body stress/ lines of tension as well as which direction these lie in. This is done using the body's biofeedback mechanism. A gentle stimulus is then applied to encourage the body to release the stored tension, release pressure off dampened pathways thus assisting the body in its inbuilt ability to heal and maintain itself.
Effects may be dramatic with instant relief of pain or straightening of distorted posture. If the body stress has been present for a long time, it may take several sessions to release the layers of locked in tension.
